Players can receive an Alolan Grimer, when they trade a Kantonian Grimer to the NPC inside of Cinnabar Island's Pokémon Center.
This trade is infinitely repeatable. This is one of the rare instances that a received Pokémon from a NPC trade may be shiny.
This trade is exclusive to Let's Go Pikachu.
