it doesnt work. press import, and it comes up as a ? sprite, and it wont let me save

Drag it into the slot.

It should be okay for it to be ? Sprite, as long as your exit and re-enter into pkhex wonder card menu and it's still there.

(Plus I've used this very card previously with no issues)

In any case, screenshot the particular error you mentioned.

Hmm, there's only one Mewnium Z, and it's the English one I've uploaded here

(the one you have may be in a Spanish game, but you'll notice the title of the card is in english)
