Rather than posting a new thread each time we make an update to the site (and yes, it will be happening quite often), the staff will make a post here detailing each update. Not all of it will be of interest to you but this is ultimately here to inform. If you need to comment on one of these updates make a new thread in the feedback forum.
Enjoy!

This is just a reminder that you don't have to use the boring vB default skin. We set it as the default because Techron has some compatibility issues and will only work once you've used the default skin once.
If you'd like to set Techron as your default you may do so here (http://projectpokemon.org/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions#sel_newstyleset).

Fixed something that had been annoying me regarding unread threads. It was automatically marking threads as read just because I'd been browsing the forums for so long; now unread threads are stored in a database and won't be marked read until you visit them.
This had the minor drawback of setting all threads back to unread. You can use the "mark all forums read" link on the main forum menu to fix this.

We have added two new BBcodes to easily post sprites of all 493 Pokémon. To use them, simply use the and [icon] BBcodes and put the three digit national dex number of the Pokémon in between. The [sprite] tag is for the large sprite of the Pokémon, and the [icon] tag is for the small icon of the Pokémon.
Putting 001 in between the tags will result in the following, for example:
[sprite]001 and 001
[shinysprite] will also post a shiny version of the above.

Note the /index.php at the end. Adding that that will not redirect you to the new forums. The old forums are locked as an archive - you will not be able to register and you will not be able to post. If you were previously registered on the forums, you may still log in to see your PMs.

Pokémon BBCode Button Images Added
Several adjustments and additions have been made to the forums. To start off, DP-Sprite, Pokémon Icons, and DP Shiny Sprite BBCodes now have a Button Image (like the Bold Button, Underline Button, etc.) This will automatically enter the BBCode and all you need to do now is enter the Pokémon's National Dex Number.

Favorite Pokémon Type Input Field Added
You may also now select a "Favorite Pokémon Type" from a list of all seventeen organized alphabetically! Just go to your "Edit Details (http://projectpokemon.org/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile)" found in User Control Panel (UCP, UserCP, etc) and at the bottom will be a "Favorite Pokémon Type" option. It will be shown to everyone on your Profile under Gender.
