So, after the last few years of asking for others for help in making/editing Pokes, I decided I want to do it myself. I have zero experience in this sort of thing, and I wasn't too sure where to make this thread, and I believe this is the right forum.
A quick search of "Beginners guide" got me nothing, so I'll ask as generally as possible.
What will I need for my DS Lite to be able to make/edit Pokemon for Black/White/Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HG/SS, and is there anything else, aside from PokeGen that I'll need on my laptop to transfer Pokes back and forth?
Also, is there an actual guide somewhere that can give me step-by-step instructions on how to use/make/transfer Pokes I create to my copy of Black/Diamond?
If this is the wrong section, I apologize, as again, I'm still sort-of new to this stuff, and I have no idea where to go.
