Since there is no comprehensive guide to Safari zone, I was thinking to ask some questions that are bothering me. I would have asked this in simple questions, but I don't think it is that simple.
- How does days advance? I'm pretty sure you cannot just set your DS clock all the way ahead in order to get those Pokemon that you need X days to get. Does it advance as the number of days you played the game? So for every time the DS clock tick pass to 12:00am, that count as a day?
Days advance by Game time played, I advanced my game by 120 days on an emulator and got Day 100 Pokemon.
- Upgrades, are the upgrades on the blocks visible on the switch panel? Or do they just show how many blocks you have set up?
Upgrades are invisible. Use Bulbapedia to find out how many blocks you need, it is better to count your days anyways, since Serebii's is quite confusing. What you need to do is actually set up those blocks as serebii's page tells you. That means you need to have 25 Rock Blocks at Day 30 to get Trapinch without counting the bonuses.
- Those blocks in the "other" section, what do they do other than taking up space?
