As in, we can reset the events using PKHeX, but can we do something to trigger them through the app? I can't seem to find any option. If there is none, I would like to request one, so that the menu has checkmarks like all other gens. I don't think it should be very hard considering the system is already in place for later gens. I have only used this on R/B, can't say much about Yellow. Also if this isn't feasible/possible, can someone guide me to do so manually? -
Greetings, Me and a bunch of friends have started a replay of the Gen 4 games because of nostalgia. I read about the events Gen 4 used to have (Azure Flute, Oaks Letter etc) and I would like to edit my savegame (it's a physical card) and add these items in. I own a dongle, a PowerSave 3DS one. I have searched about a bit about how to alter saves, and most websites say a dongle is neccesary, but I don't know at all what to do after I put my Pearl in the dongle. I don't know how to open the save in PKHeX (happened to read about this). Thanks for reading and I hope you can assist me.

So, I was trying to edit an Emerald save where I just had the Pokédex and a few mons. I wanted to unlock the National Dex right there, so I opened the save with PkHex and checked the event flag "SYS_NATIONAL_DEX", but nothing happened. Am I missing something?

hello people! i'm new but i have a small problem with my save file, it's really nothing big but it's annoying at worst. help would be very appreciated so a few weeks ago i edited an event flag to fix a problem with photoclub. the problem? i noticed i had a problem with photoclub, for some reason i never unlocked advance mode, luckily after i did edit the event flag, and then change the value it to how it was before, i got it. now here comes the issue, some of the characters talk like i haven't completed the game (which i did months ago, i even completed episode RR) as an example: lillie, who's still in her new outfit asks me how my first trial is going. but the professer still acts normal. it doesn't take away from the game but it's still kinda bothers me i'm sorry if i'm being a bother with such a minor issue. is there a way i can see which event constant is affected by the edit so i can fix it? or a list of all the event flags in USUM? thank you EDIT: sorry for not doing this sooner but here is what i meant, also some characters do not even appear in the overworld, such as Hau.
