While Shiny Pikachu has been released early in Pokémon Go, even before the introduction of Community Days, for the file on this page contributed by @wo0ts, the Shiny Pikachu provided was not caught in the wild, but instead was evolved from a Shiny Pichu, obtained from an egg obtained from the Pokémon Go Safari Zone in Dortmund, Germany. In 2018, from June 30th to July 1st, the Safari Zone Pokéstops would yield 2km eggs that had a chance of hatching into a Shiny Pichu.

In these games, Vileplume has a 1% appearance rate on Route 21. In these, Vileplume is the version exclusive, paired against Victreebel.

In these, Gloom is the version exclusive, paired against Bellsprout.

In these, Oddish is the version exclusive, paired against Bellsprout.

Players can receive an Alolan Grimer, when they trade a Kantonian Grimer to the NPC inside of Cinnabar Island's Pokémon Center. This trade is infinitely repeatable. This is one of the rare instances that a received Pokémon from a NPC trade may be shiny. This trade is exclusive to Let's Go Pikachu.

Players can receive an Alolan Sandshrew, when they trade a Kantonian Sandshrew to the NPC inside of Celadon City's Pokémon Center. This trade is infinitely repeatable. This is one of the rare instances that a received Pokémon from a NPC trade may be shiny. This trade is exclusive to Let's Go Pikachu.

When players talk to this NPC in Vermilion City, they were asked if they prefer Growlithe or Meowth. They were then told to catch 5 Growlithe (exclusive to Let's Go Pikachu). After that, players are given a Persian, regardless of the choice they chose.

In Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee, Articuno can be encountered inside the Seafoam Islands.

In Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee, Mewtwo can be encountered inside the Cerulean Cave, which can be accessed after the player enters the Hall of Fame.
