  1. I looked and I seem to be the only one having this issue...

When I load an event card (i.e. the new Spring Reshiram) into the new mystery gift section of pokegen, everything appears to work fine, and (aside from separate PC issues with code manager) I entered the code into my AR and booted the game. So far, so good. Upon activating the code in-game, however, the code does not appear to work (it should have the guy at the pokemon center that gives me the gift) and it renders me unable to open the menu to do anything (open bag, see party, save, etc).

To me, this seems like either a problem with the code pokegen gives me or my AR. I'm willing to accept that it's my AR if this does seem to be just my problem.:bidoof:

Software/Hardware in use: Pokegen, AR code manager, AR DSi, DS Lite console, Pokemon White Version (US). OS: Win 7 x64

EDIT: Right now I'm trying the wonder card editor to see if it's a bad card or something.

Also, I just remembered that I also recently used the same process for my Pearl version and it worked fine...

  2. Actually, Pokemon and Items from certain Events will not work for Desmume and certain Flash Carts such as the Liberty Ticket and the newest Darkrai Event. Their for, you must edit your SAV File with the PGF Files from the Event Contribution Thread by usuing MGE v1.4.3.

Really? Maybe it's just you then, because I have a Victini in my party now... Inserted with Pokegen, customized of course.

  3. Is the Liberty Ticket code fixed yet?

What do you mean "fixed?" It works. There is no way to make it shorter. If you're using DeSmuME like me then just edit your save file with pokegen or something else (recommend pokegen, thread is on this site) and give yourself Victini. As I said earlier in this thread, for some reason it's under the name Bikutini...

  4. Is it so hard to put a Satoshi Pikachu into a pokegen and put the pokegen into Japanease mode so the game recognizes it? And where the ot is right.

    It's really not that hard...

If you're making it into a code, you just select japan as the region on the code generator menu.

If you're editing a save it's even easier, you just load the save file, load the pkm file, and set the pokemon into your PC. It's also much more complete than the latest pokesav at creating pokemon for hg/ss or b/w.

  5. Hey I'm on pokemon white first things first I've been trying to get a working liberty ticket code but I'm on desmume so that long code won't work would it be possible to shorten it by making it something to be sold in the pokemart? jw. Also I wanted to know if someone could make me a code that would evolve trade pokemon by leveling or something along those lines.

Why don't you just edit the save file and add Victini into your PC/Party?

You can use pokegen, it works great for this kind of editing and it also makes codes for individual pokemon. It has its own thread elsewhere. Use the Beta version for B/W support. That's what I did.

  6. It is definitely WFC. I downloaded it.

Once taken to the Pewter Museum, you see Steven Stone from Hoenn. Talk to him, and the fossil guy turns the Enigma Stone into a Soul Dew. Upon leaving the museum, Steven tells you Latias (SS) or Latios (HG) has arrived and is ready for a fight. You can then capture it or, less advised, defeat it. It will be Lv. 40.

Oh, in my first post I was pointing out that less than half of ALL events are distributed outside Japan. I know many of the major ones are.

  7. Seriously? How many of you have actually been to ALL the rooms in the ruins?

It practically TELLS you that the unown lived with a group of people.

Those people made all the stone statues that fill the halls.

If you look on the walls BEHIND the puzzles that unlock more unown, you see a cryptic panel written in unown. Follow the implied instructions of each panel and you see another room with items. At the end of THAT room there is a hole. Drop down and you see unown etched into the ground that tell most of the story. This is what the words say EXACTLY:

Our clan created pokemon statue outside

Our clan engraved words in this place

They possess power to sense with mind and reject outside

We humans need to walk with them/ We leave here for the sake of them

So, with this information and that in you unown report, it may be a little easier to speculate what happened to cause the unown's creators to have to leave.

And yes, I have been spelling unown right this whole time. Check your pokedex. It's right.

  8. Well...

Since no one was kind enough to spell out the process, I figured it out for myself over a few hours.

I may as well share the steps with the rest of the world. :P

I'll break it down into steps, too.

    1. Download the event in your language from the project pokemon page, which can be found off the main page at the bottom of the column. OR http://http://projectpokemon.org/events/search/lang:EN

    2. Download the pokemon generator which can be found in another thread. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6424-Pokemon-Generator-(Pokesav-replacement-for-Pokemon-editing)

Additionally, if using an emulator, your .dsv save file can be loaded and edited using this, if I understand this right. You can even choose your activation key for action replay and save codes in .xml format for the code manager. The link can explain it better than me.

  9. How are people creating codes for events?

The event tab in pokesav is greyed out!

I would REALLY like to be able to write my own event codes that result in a mystery gift or even a roaming pokemon, both of which HGSS pokesav lacks.

I'm sure I'm not the only person that is completely disappointed with how incomplete pokesav is. If some kind developer could continue this ambitious project, I'm sure all of us would be grateful. I could do it myself, but I don't have the hardware.(trainer toolkit, etc.)

  10. I know of a dual GBA and DS AR type thing that uses the same codes and has its own code manager... let me see if it's still on my hard drive. I think it was Max Duo or something like that.

---------- Post added at 10:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:13 PM ----------

OK, it's not on my drive anymore but I know it exists.

  11. I'm technically new, but I was signed up for the pokesav forums. As my sig says, I AM NOT A NOOB!!! I can answer many questions about all 4 gens of pokemon and can also provide thousands of codes, from common to the not so much. Of course if the code is elsewhere in the site I'll just call you stupid :bidoof: or lazy.

And anyone who is too lazy to download and use pokesav on their own, I might help you, depending on my mood. Usually I will. :D
