  1. Suggestion:

    1. A set file trainer as OT for pokemon.

    2. A way to save trainer "profiles". (Game(X/Y), Gender, ID, SID, language, Region, subregion, 3DS region) and "quick load" those when setting those fields while editing pokemon.

  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but once your Join Avenue is at around Rank 15 you can do nursery by normal means. I accidentally added 920 twice to one of the addresses and ended up making my Join Avenue have a strange appearance (the textures turned white and the shops turned into stones!). You can save the game, then soft reset and it would still remain like this.

    Can you provide a sav so we can see what caused this?

  3. It appears that while sprites are 16 bit values, Join avenue handles only 8-bit. (there are well over 255 sprites, the last sprite being an 8 bit value is Erika (RBY Gym Leader))

    If you try to go from FF00 to 0101, it handles it as 0100 (Ram view reverses the order of bytes so a pointer of 02 20 4C C0 appears as C0 4C 20 02)

    Dunno how to fix this but I really wanted some R/S gym leaders in my join avenue.

  4. Ummm.... this is set on your Trainer Card. You do not need a cheat code for that.

    You have 8 options on your trainer card. There are over 100 options that would be accessable via cheats.

    (Nothing funnier than setting your sprite to reshiram or zekrom for laughs)

  5. 1. How do you insert MIDI files into sdat files?

    -I have R/S/E battle music remixes converted and loop points found to the single sample (1/44100th of a second) and want to, well insert them into a hg or ss rom.

    2. How do you set trainer battle music in HG/SS? what tools do i need?

    -Like, for trainers that normally don't have special music.

    3. Can I import sprites from .png, .jpg, .bmp, or .gif images?

    -I have some sprites i want to insert into my HG/SS rom.

    Sorry if the answer to these questions is a simple google or a 1-line tutorial, but i'm a COMPLETE noob when it comes to POKEMON romhacks.

    (Of course, if you could answer these for B/W instead of HG/SS, that would be better)

  6. um. suggestions:

    1. How about editing the battle music? (ex: Inserting Gen3 music for gen 3 trainers, gen4 music for gen4 trainers)

    2. and what about editing the badges to make it so each victory against a (previously unbeaten) trainer gives you a (really small) gem shaped thing with a LOT of badge slots on the trainer card page? (Sorta like gym leader badges)
