  1. I have special boxes in Platinum for the following:

    - Unown (full count, 26 + 2)

    - Elite (battle-ready pokemon, mostly OU, EV-trained)

    - TradeIN (those that I received via trade)

    - EeveeD2 (Eevee evolution & Ditto collection)

    - LegendA (Legendaries)

    - LegendB (Legendaries, other event pokemon & legit shinies)

    - Nursery (pokemon for EV-training, breeding & levelling)

The remaining boxes are not named, randomly arranged :)

  2. I hacked some pokemon that are not obtainable in Platinum by transferring those into PC, then bred and hatched, and released those that were "illegally" transferred after breeding. Also, the event legendaries and wondercards.

And oh, I hacked lots of "nuggets" and sell those to afford the vitamins that are needed for EV training. :)

Other than those mentioned, I believe that I am still playing "accordingly" :)

  3. I've always dream of having a "Green Team" in my Pearl & Platinum, watch out Fire, Bug & Ice pokemon, here comes my "Green Dream Team" :)

  4. Nidorina / Nidoqueen say "hi". Also technically any "baby" Pokémon.

    ....

yup, i know that, my expression was intended for her in catching Heatran (which I am fond of calling the "female pokemon which does not lay eggs"). ;)

    @Topic:

So far, Beldum, Regice & Registeel are still the hardest pokemon for me to catch.

  5. Thanks for the response everyone.

Another question: I know we use catch rates in a formula, but how are the catch rates determined (arceus is 3, but how do we know?)

As Dante mentioned, it was Gamefreak who determined the catch rates for the pokemon. and as for your query on "how do we know", I advise you to check the pokedex of marriland. ;)

  6. Nice thread :)

My daily Sinnoh routine were similar to Okami's when my pokedex wasn't complete yet. But now, since I have already completed my pokedex (493 seen and 493 caught), my Sinnoh routine activities are:

    - Water the berry plants planted beside my Villa

    - Go to Pastoria to collect a new random berry offered by the berry lady

    - Visit Sandgem Town to check the daily swarm from Dawn's sister (i'm still waiting for Pinsir to swarm, 'though I get mine from GTS)

    - Visit Jubilife City for the daily raffle :)

    - Go to the Gym Leaders' Lounge in the Survival Area and have a battle with them

    - Fight the E4 for levelling up my other pokemon

    - Go back to route 229 to fight again and again the two trainers there (with Dusclops/Salamence & Mightyena/Kirlia) for levelling up other pokemon as well.

    - Visit Battle Frontier and if i'm in the mood, try either the Castle or the Tower.

    - Finally, go back again to my villa, water the berry plants and save the game.

  7. Okay thanks for the help. Does the guy tell you what level the move was learn't?

he will not tell you that, instead, he will offer you a list of all the available moves below that level, and you can just select from that drop down list. And PF was right, you will need heart scales for that.

    @DanteKoriyu

thanks for the info about the hatch steps ;)

  8. I noticed on websites such as bulbapedia, marriland and serebii, that pokémon such as Cresselia have moves before the actual catch level.

    ........

    .....

How do they know what moves she has before 50 if it is caught at lvl 50? Hacking this pokémon at level one, when leveling up, does she get these moves at these levels? My friend had a book for Emerald, and the official pokémon company had the moves before it's catch level.

Pokemon caught or available only at a certain level can get moves that are below their current level through the Move Tutor guy in Pastoria City.

As for the number of steps for hatching, I have the same question also.

BTW, it looks like that this topic should be moved to Small Help Section. ;)

  9. How the hell do I even get the level 100 one lol.

what i mean is that... that "event Regigigas" is in Level 100. lol and BTW, i have no problem in getting that "event Regigigas" directly from PP event download. i use pokesav ;)

    ...

    4. Catch all the 483 pokèmon species...

    ...

i believe you have to catch all 493 instead of 483 ;)

  10. ^Dusk Balls are better than Ultra Balls in catching Heatran :) don;t forget to bring some too, and good luck ;)

For me, the hardest pokemon to catch is Beldum. Others may not find it hard, but a pokemon with such a semi-insane catch rate and "recoil effect" is truly very hard to catch. :)

  11. ^that's the way to get the 3 Regis, you must have the "Event Level 100 Regigigas" in your party to trigger the event for the 3 Regis. And after you caught the 3 Regis (ensure that they are in your party), you can then proceed to Snowpoint City Temple and catch Level 1 Regigigas. Thus, you will have 3 Regis + Level 100 Regigigas + Level 1 Regigigas in Platinum :)
