  1. Hi all, Apologies if this thread has been started in the incorrect directory. My English isn't great, so please bare with me. I've managed to extract a Pokemon Moon ROM using the .Net Toolkit, and have the output data stored in a folder on my desktop. When opening pk3DS, I use this folder (titled Compiler Folder) as a directory. When hitting 'OK', it asks me to select 'Yes' for OR/AS or 'No' for X/Y. 'Cancel' is Abort. I am unsure how to proceed with this. A swift reply would be much appreciated, looking to do as many nuzlockes as I can during this testing time :D. Let me know if there is any other information I am required to give. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi all, I was watching a YT tutorial on randomizing 3DS ROMs (I have watched numerous tutorials, all coming up with the same issue) and have encountered a problem even though following the steps of the tutorial very carefully. I go into the Hackingtoolkit9DS and do all the extracting of my ROM in order to randomize it, as I was interested in doing a nuzlocke. Unfortunately, when extracting, I don't see the files that the tutorial shows. They have an ExtractedBanner folder, ExtractedExeFS folder, ExtractedManual folder and an ExtractedRomFS folder. I only get an ExtractedManual folder and an ExtractedO3DSUpdate folder, which isn't even in the tutorial. The ROM I am trying to randomize is Pokemon Y. Help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

  3. Hi all, Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but does sound about right. Apologies if this is the wrong place. I recently downloaded a file from GBATemp for Pokemon Rayless Ruby and Shadow Sapphire and got a folder called 'romfs' in it. I do have a basic understanding of what to do because I did something similar in order to get Pokemon Wilting Y. However, I was really confused when doing some research prior to this. It seems as though I cannot convert it into a .3ds file, but only into a .cia file. I know you can install .cia's on Citra (which is how I intend to play it and no other way), but all the tutorials I found require me to get files from a DS SD card. I was wondering if there was a possibility of converting the file into a playable .3ds file. I came here hoping I would be able to get a full method on what to do? If I need to share the 'romfs' file, please let me know. To my understanding, this ROM hack was quite recently released (found out about it through RuffledRowlit) and am fine with a reply not coming incredibly soon. I would however, appreciate a quick reply. Also wanted to know if there was any third-party apps I need to install for the process? I'm all for it. Just another quick reminder that I DON'T WANT TO USE ACTUAL FILES FROM A 3DS SD CARD. I want the simplest way to perform this and would really appreciate it to be as simplified as possible. Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance.
  4. I was wondering if the pokemon that I PKHeX into my save files are required to be legal. For example, teaching Dark Pulse to an Emboar. I was curious and was hoping that I could use illegal pokemon so that I could cover all my weaknesses within a single movepool .
  5. Thanks for your help, I will try to resolve this issue soon, but why isn't the save data valid? Double-posting is just in my nature, once again I apologise, I always have second thoughts on something, haha. Changing the save file to Flash 128K worked. Thank you for helping me resolve this issue.
  6. This is the 'corrupt' file. Pokemon - FireRed Version (USA).sav Sorry for double-posting (again), but just thought that I would mention that I'm not having the same issue on PKHeX with any other of my save files? I'm able to edit my OR/AS, X/Y, S/M, US/UM, Pokemon B2W2, Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon HeartGold save files. As well as FireRed DS version. These are all saved in .sav formats. Thanks.
  7. I apologise if this is the wrong place to post this. I have been using PKHeX for around 7 or 8 months and this error (the following) has never come up unless I accidentally clicked on the ROM rather than the save file: Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size. This could be caused by loading a different generation Pokemon file on an unsupported generation or your file is corrupt. File loaded: *scrubbed*/Pokemon FireRed Version (USA).sav File size: 65536 bytes The size is 64 kb which is definitely small enough to be a save file and to be recognised by PKHeX. As it says above my file type is a .sav, which is the default save type. Unless my file type is corrupt? I'm not exactly sure... In case it is required, my emulator is VisualBoyAdvance and I have edited save files from this emulator before. I hope this can be fixed. Thanks in advance. ||--unnecessary double post merged--|| If necessary I am willing to play FireRed DS version. It's just that I would rather play the original with the fast forward function.
