I'm not sure that works in game. I obtained a Shiny Ditto in a trade and it didn't update on my trainer card that I found a Shiny (the number stayed at 0). That doesn't bother me because that was traded from someone else; my problem is with it being found in my game. Any Pokemon I generate as shiny does NOT update my Shiny Found, and in the Pokedex there's nothing there to change except checking a box. When I load my game up, the Shiny Found number doesn't change even with those boxes checked. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed that or if anyone has been affected by that. Realized I had to update my Trainer Card. Whoops.

I've gone through the options, and I can't seem to find anything to alter that number. Generating Shiny Pokemon doesn't count towards it, and it'll look strange having a bunch of Shinies with my Trainer ID, but not showing I found them through means of wild encounter or hatching. Anyone know where to find this?
