Hi! I’d like to share some additional information about the Celebi Tour held in Barcelona. A friend of mine (the webmaster of the now-defunct Pokémon Safari website) attended the event and managed to download more than 10 Celebis. He sent me one of them in 2009 along with the event papers (diploma, promo material, etc.).
My Celebi had the OT: NICO and ID: 01446, the same as the diploma (which, funnily enough, is in French — maybe the staff mixed up the language of the paperwork).
Unfortunately, the other day I checked my copy of Pokémon Crystal and the battery had died. It’s a bit sad because I have the GB Transferer 2 since 2008, but it didn't work back in 2009 when I tried exporting my save file (due to issues with Windows XP). Before that, I had successfully exported some saves, but none of them contained the Celebi yet.
Another important detail is that these Celebis all had different IVs, something important that my friend confirmed.
