<p><p><p><p><p>The Greeks fought among themselves so much and eventually Thebes (not to be confused with Thebes of Egypt), another city state of Greece defeated the Spartans. This weakened the Greeks so much they fell under a Macedonian... the one we know as Alexander the Great, who brought in the Hellenistic Period (mixture of Greek/Egyptian/Persian/Indian culture). And you should know that Cleopatra was not Egyptian at all. She was actually Greek... and the granddaughter of one of Alexander's generals (the one who ruled Egypt obviously).</p></p></p></p></p>
