<p><p><p><p><p>Well, now you know. The Spartans were part of Greece... but the funny thing is, Greece was never united then and was not even known as Greece. Due to its mountainous terrain, they were all just city states (not exactly city states but that's the best I can describe them as). During the Peloponnese War the barbaric Spartans allied with the democratic Athens against the Persians. Of course, afterwards the Athenians were like "we'll be leaders, you guys are under our supreme leadership"... so the Spartans got angry and even allied with the Persians to take the Athenians down, including their great leader Pericles of Athens.</p></p></p></p></p>
<p><p><p><p><p>Pericles... that guy was brilliant... SO brilliant that he'd gather everyone in the city at the gate and would all die of overcrowding and rapid disease spreading... yes, even Pericles died himself. >.></p></p></p></p></p>
