Yes, he was a rebel from a religious stance since he promoted what was known as monotheism for worshiping the sun disc Aten... as opposed to the traditional polytheistic Egyptian gods that was standard to all Egyptians during that period. You know... Osiris, Amun-Re, etc...</p></p></p></p></p>
