Already downloaded mine too, but will take me a while to get National Dex before I could claim that Shaymin

I've made stickied topics and announcements concerning various things. I usually still give out infractions despite those notices being there.

I think a much more effective method would be to post it on the front page.

Of course if anyone bothered to search before posting, it wouldn't happen :\

That was what I planned to say earlier too, but I think this issue should not be given much priority by posting in the front page, though.

Nevertheless, I would say that maybe you should give it a try. I guess people might notice it more that a stickied topic.

As the topic said, I think it would be nice if someone would make a stickied topic in Event Pokemon forum regarding the issue, so that new people *might* stop and read the sticky topic first before flooding the forum with the same question.

Judging from their sprite (personal opinion),

Salamence: Looks quite intimidating with wings (besides the fact that they have Intimidate ability). Traditional flying dragon.

Garchomp: Their sprites on Platinum are simply pwned for me lol Looks like it's yelling "Ready to strike, master!!" :grog:

My first level 100 THAT I TRAINED was Blastoise in Blue Version <3 Blastoise. I haven't gotten one in Platinum without cheating haha >.< I believe the word lazy comes into play here.

My first lvl 100 that I trained was Blastoise also, but in Red Version (Japanese version; guess my way through the game), followed by Altaria (should have been Latios, but somehow Alt manage to hit 100 first meh).

Let's say I would like to transfer my Platinum savefile (using Rudolph's wifi tool thing) so that I could put the Member Card WC into my savefile via PokeSav. Afterward, is it possible for me to transfer the save back to my retail cart?

I was thinking about the ability too, because in Pokesav's PID/IV, it said that Swampert will have ability 2 (shouldn't it has only Torrent ability though?). But, how do you generate new PID with the same IVs and desired nature though?

I created a pokemon from ground-up using Greencat's Legality Guide and Smogon's competitive Dex. Used trash bytes normalizer and Legit checker. When I check it in-game, though, the OT name has a ? in front of it I didn't used Input Own OT also. Any help?

It is a pal-parked pokemon, but the legit checker said that it's from English-speaking country, AND Korea?? What's wrong with it?

As Aarux stated, moves can only be passed down by the male parent, no matter what moves the female has. Also to be noted, everstone does not increase your chances of getting the certain nature.

Just like what Aarux said, everstone does increase chances, up to like 60% of being the same nature as mother (personal experiences).

When you breed, it only passes down the male's moves. In this case, it passed down the male Dragonite's Outrage.

Gible was the female, so Stone Edge and Earthquake couldn't get passed down.

That means, I can only make a gible learn outrage via breeding only, and for stone edge+earthquake, the only way I could get both of them on my gible is through TMs learning?

Ok, here's the scenario: I put a male larvitar that already learned Stone edge and earthquake into daycare, along with my female Jolly gible (holding everstone). Eggs I received, when hatched, are gibles that know both moves. Then, I took one female gible, made it hold everstone, and put it in daycare again, but this time its mate was a male dragonite that learned outrage. Supposely, they should breed gibles that know outrage, stone edge, and earthquake, all within one gible. It turned out, however, that the new gibles only know outrage move. Did I do anything wrong here??

Do you know if loading wondercards (PCDs and PGTs) into a save file leaves traces?

How about converting a wondercard into an AR code and using that?

My guess is that it doesn't leave trace on your save b/c all you do is import wondercards into your save. In other words, kinda like you go to the event yourself. But, I'd like someone else who's more knowledgeable that me to confirm this. :bidoof:

@pokemonfan: drifloon look innocent, and I like it lol. For the blastoise story, if you can find Pokemon Red cart + normal game boy, you could try it yourself. I guess I can manage that far because it has a lot of hp, that's all. But I can't catch mewtwo though (already used my masterball on Articuno <<< stupid..)

Forgot to introduce myself, after I've post about five topics in various subforums already.

Well, my nickname might give you a bad impression about me; but, to be honest, I have no idea which nicknames to come up with. I've been playing pokemon on-and-off since 1997. Back then, I was pretty stupid with this game (unable to read japanese text, yet there's no single shop in my home country that sold english cart), so I decided to play the whole game using only one pokemon, Blastoise: In red version (still black and white), I manage to catch all three legendary birds and beat elite 4 with him alone.

Yeah, enough with pointless story. Nice to meet everyone here.

FYI: I came across the old archive looking for basic PokeSav guides this evening. Found none, but I've read topics about how other people flamed/trolled this website. I give my sympathy to all the mods, admins, and developers here, especially Sabresite

To erase the pokesav traces of a 100% LEGAL pokemon you've to trade your pokemon to D/P and then trade back to your game, or (more simply) just put them on GTS and take back off . Then you'll not have problems.

Just upload the pokemon onto GTS then take it back? lol so easy.

if you only tick the shiny option ... then the answer is no , it won't be legit and it wont be legal ..

if you only change the IV only without changing the PID , it won't be legit and it wont be legal ..

last Qs, all of those editing using pokesav will leave a trace on your savefile ^^

... FYI legit pokemon can only be produced by the game itself ^^...

Ok. So any alterations to pokemons render them both illegit and illegal, right?

@damio: I guess I could narrow down question #1 to: if I edit a legit pokemon by making it shiny only, would my pokemon still be somewhat legit? And, what if I edit some of its IVs and/or EVs, would my pokemon turn completely illegit??? Lastly, will all those edits create trash bites in my sav file?

For WonderCard files listed in event pokemons page, why do some of them marked as PGT only?

1. Which type of edit that would render a pokemon illegit (or semi-legit)? ie.

2. Can anyone defines .PGT and .PCB for me please?
