I replaced the beldum with zigzagoon in a recent update. It's a better utility mon in the early game and from watching a lot of playthroughs of XG I felt beldum ended up being dead weight, especially with how slow the start of XD's story is. It was either boxed immediately or became an extra pokemon to balance exp around really early on. I added metang at the pokespots so it's still obtainable pretty early on.

Honestly the only reason was that deoxys attack looks the coolest imo. You made me think about it though and I ended up changing it to defense for future updates. Later down the line I'll try and add in all the formes as separate pokemon.

Adding the rest of the deoxys forms has been on my list for a while actually. It's just low priority right now. I would like to wire it up so that the deoxys form is automatically determined by it's nature. e.g. plus atk or sp.atk natures give attack form while neutral natures give normal form.

It's definitely possible, but it's a lot more work than it's worth.

I have a LOT of questions:
-Is The Under accessible? if not, could it be implemented? Will you do it?
-Can you rebattle Miror B anytime you want?
-Will you add gen IV-VII pokemons?
-Its possible to add them or you need to redo the 3d models?

-There are wild random encounters? if not, could they be implemented? Will you do it?
-Its possible to add some character customization like Battle revolution?
-Its possible to add the Battle revolution stadiums maps to the multiplayer mode? Will you do it?

    Thanks for your time😄

    The under is not accessible.

Yes you can rebattle Mirror B anytime.

There are "wild" random encouters thanks to the Poké spots and the poké snacks.

As for the rest, that's up to Stars to answer.
But I'm just gonna say that you're asking a LOT to someone that is working alone, during his free time, while he doesn't get paid (he deserves the donations guys, a new game costs around $60 atm, and I'm sure you guys have had more fun with this game than other recent game, so please consider it!) and that has some limitations because it's a patch of the original game.

Haven't been able to play this game in months due to just how busy I've been, but I booted up again and am loving it just as I always did.

Just out of curiosity, why on earth does an Alakazam in one of Mount Battle's later zones (I want to say it was Zone 10, but it could have been Zone 9, should have snapshot it or something) know Thunderbolt?!  I mean, I'd love it if Alakazam could know Thunderbolt in the main-series game, because that'd be huge coverage-wise, but it's unconventional to say the least, and since my own Alakazam can't learn it, it just seems unfair, haha.

Just a small thing, feel free to remove it or keep it as is based on your digression, but let's just say that after 7 generations of Pokemon experience, I really thought my Mantine would be safe against an Alakazam. XD

Stars didn't use or copy pasted an existing "learnable moves" database since most of the moves were reprogrammed iirc.

New moves introduced in later generations replaced existing moves, and there were even some small adjustments such as to Psybeam to give the animation to Flash Cannon/Dazzling Gleam iirc (and then he replaced another move by Psybeam to still be able to use it).

That's why there might be some incoherences with the original games. Everything was done from scratch (iirc one more time)

    Hello,

I just found this and was trying to patch my .iso of the game with the .ups i downloaded using NUPS but i keep getting an error saying "the patch doesn't match the file, patching canceled". How do I solve this? I'm really looking forward to being able to use this, Thanks for any help!

Apply the patch to a clean .iso. (so not an XG one, but an XD one)

What I did was keep a clean iso in a separate folder and copy it each time there was a new patch and applied the patch to that copy.

New yo this, just a question: last time I played XG it was v.1.0.4, and so I patched a clean ISO with v.1.1.8 to see if the save files we're compatible, wich they weren't and still ran the v.1.0.4 save file. Will starting a new game let me play the v.1.1.8 patch?

Of course ! Try to export your save first, in case someone would be able to help you out. Just click on "tools" then "Gamecube Memory Card Manager". Image in spoilers below!

Really not sure if that will work, but maybe you could try to load a savestate? Would be interesting to know what would happen in that case.

If you still wanna keep a regular save and not using save states, you can make a new file on v1.1.8, save, load state (if it works) and then the game should let you resave normally. Once again, if loading a state works... Really don't know how that stuff works since all I knew was that there were some differences in the saves because of the patches, never heard about incompatible saves because of it.

This may have been asked before but what are the three pokemon Duking wants you to give him again?  He won't tell me what they are because I apparently have one of them in the pc and just tells me to switch it out to my party... I gave him Chansey and remember Dratini being one he wanted but what was the third again?

    I'm pretty sure it's Aerodactyl.

And correct, Dratini is one too.

Does anyone know if you can buy/obtain more than the 10 Shade Balls you're given with the master ball? Those would be really handy going into Citadark Isle.

I don't know either. Tried to check in the documentation, haven't seen it in there either.

    Hey guys.

Was wondering if anyone knew where the TM for Calm Mind is or if it's even attainable? I've lost track of my wins/rewards wins from the colosseums...

Would love it for eviolite Dusclops to run with Ice Beam/Pain Split/Shadow Ball.

There's no Calm Mind TM in this version of the game. Dusclops can't learn the move currently.

One other question, there's no gen IV pokemon in the game?  Was wondering if I'd be able to evolve the murkrow.

At the current moment no. But you can use an eviolite on Murkrow and any other pokemon that gets an evolution (not mega obviously) in later gens.

So when i Heard about this hack I saw that you get a beldum as a starter with your eevee. Well when i patched and started my game i had a zigzagoon instead of a beldum. Anyone know what went wrong and how to fix? or am i just missing something?

You can get a Metang in the cave poke spot.

Question: does Clefairy learn Follow Me? It hasn't as of level 38.

Follow me isn't in this version of the game. Can't add moves, can only replace them. That's the only reason I can see as to why Follow me wouldn't be in this version. Don't know the reason why it had to be one of the better doubles moves though.

It's just really depressing to work at leveling up my Larvitar all the way to 50...and then just being handed a Tyranitar by the game. smh. lol

A Tyranitar that you made evolve from a Larvitar will almost always be better than a Tyranitar you just caught (only wouldn't be if you only used rare candies to level him up and the second one has a better moveset / nature or better IVs).

  9. Hey !

First of all, thanks a lot ! As a huge XD fan, I absolutely love this hack. It's everything I wanted to have on the switch as a sequel for this awesome game.

Anyway, any chance to get the move "Strenght Sap" at one point?

Oddish, Bellsprout and Hoppip can learn it through breeding in USUM and I'd love to have it on my Vileplume in this game !

And once again, thanks a lot, the hack is really awesome.
