So i want to rng for a shiny Bayleef in Pokémon Colosseum for a ribbon master mon. The best spot for that is supposed to be in the snagem hideout since this is the location with the least noise out the other two which are Phenac and the Shadow lab. But does anyone know what actually determines and when, which of the gen 2 starters appear in which location? I know it's random. I played through the game twice now and caught Quilava in the first pt and Croconaw in the second (In Phenac). Both times i was unlucky and did not get the Bayleef Trainer to appear in the Snagem Hideout. What i am looking for is basically a way to abuse for the location itself or a way to take a look at a specific part of my save file to know where Bayleef is going to appear or something like that.

I've been playing Pokémon Platinum on an Emulator and one day decided to use the Pokéradar to build a chain for a shiny Starly. That was about a year ago and i didn't know about the Shiny Patches and that you only need a chain of 40 for the highest chance to get them. So i encountered around 120 Starlys in a row until i got a shiny without the chain breaking because i was using savestates. Now the Trainer Counter App that you use to count the current chain on the Pokétch always shows Starly at the 1st place of the podium for the longest chain. I could never replicate that without savestates. Is there a known way to edit that specific App so i can get rid of the Starly chain record, or a way to reset Pokétch Apps in general as if you just unlocked them, maybe by editing some hex values? (Another example would be resetting the Pokémon History App, so that it's empty) I tried it with PKHeX by removing the Trainer Counter, saving and then reapplying it, but that won't reset it.

Heyo. I want to build my "Signature" Team and i believe that finding a Treecko with HA might be hard because it only was avaiable in an japanese event. It doesn't matter for me if the Treecko is legit or not, as i will use it only for breeding so that the offspring is legit. And for the Ditto i never had luck on other forums and would prefer a legit one so i can transfer it to future generations. I hope that's possible. My Friendcode is: 3067 - 5534 - 2220
