Did you ever get this working? I would love to copy my PBR Pokémon back to an emulator or Diamond if possible.
Yes, actually. I followed the instructions I was given and it worked.

I think Daylight Savings Time has something to do with it. When it ended a few months back, I adjusted my Wii's clock accordingly, only to find no more events coming through. When I changed it back, they resumed.
-
Do the monthly cycles take Daylight Savings Time into account?

Anybody know what level marill evolves at in the game? I'm thinking that most evolutions are based off the same way there done in the main games but I'm not sure.
Level 18.
I have to point out something to the developers: The Buddy Password for the Shiny Roserade is incorrect as given in the Notepad file that's downloadable with the patches. It says "8/%z" in the second fourth, when it is actually "&/%z".

The #1 issue with Gates to Infinity is the super slow text speed. Luckily, @shutterbug2000 discovered how to fix it. Short version is to use Luma 3DS cheats and create a text file at (Your SD Card)/luma/titles/00040000000BA800/cheats.txt:
[Infinite Text Speed] 00278FAC 00000000
What's the long version? I used Filezilla to transfer the text file after making it but my Checkpoint app still says there are no cheats available!

I've returned, wondering whether or not I should copy the data of my lost Pokémon to the Gen IV game they originated or put them in the most recent game possible. Say, when Pokémon are transferred through generations, do they pick up, er, markers detailing where they've been?

Nearly a year ago, I asked for help in obtaining data of party Pokémon from Pokémon Battle Revolution. Then I got distracted by other stuff and this fell by the wayside. I've returned, wondering whether or not I should copy the data of my lost Pokémon to the Gen IV game they originated or put them in the most recent game possible. Say, when Pokémon are transferred through generations, do they pick up, er, markers detailing where they've been?

Basically means that he got it working, and will be available for use during the next major update.
If you're impatient, you can compile it and run it (if you know how to do that), else you gotta waitAh, okay! I'll be as patient as a Wobbuffet! Thank you very much!

Oh! So I...have to edit something like in that github link or is this an update that's coming soon? If it's the former, can you please tell me exactly how so as to minimize the chances of me screwing it up! Oh my beloved Pearl Pokémon...!

It would be really nice to be able to retrieve party data.
-
Thank you for moving this. I hope this suggestion will be considered.
-
Alright then, how do I move this topic to Save Research & Development?
-
This doesn't count as save editing, does it? Can you please make it so that the Party Pokémon Box in PBR is accessible in PKHeX? I can't move them around in the game itself and I really want their data. I wonder if it's the same in Colosseum and XD...

Poking around in PKHeX with two PBR files, I clicked on Mail Box to find out what it does and this appeared:

Never mind, silly me, I realized I had to change the Custom Path in SaveGame Manager's settings so that it would go to the SD card and not the USB8 (whatever that is)! Now I can see the extracted data in PKHeX!
Just out of curiosity, how come I can't view Custom Passes that my Pokémon are attached to? I can only see the boxes. I suppose this means I'll just have to move them back.
EDIT: Eheheheheh, it seems switching my Pokémon does nothing, due to the fact that my Pokémon are set to my boxes. The ones that I want are set to my Party Pokémon Box which isn't visible in PKHeX.

As Kaphotics said Battle Revolution save files should always have the same size which is exactly 3670016 bytes. The amount of Pokemon has nothing to do with the size. If your save is larger something must have gone wrong during the export in Save Game Manager. Just try again.
At the risk of sounding dumb, what is the difference between "Extract" and "Compress" in SaveGame Manager GX?
I've obtained the data twice and it's still the same size.
-
How strange. I downloaded a file with all 493 Pokémon and 18 boxes completely full yet it was still smaller than my file. Why is that?
-
So what should I do? Delete some Pokémon in the boxes, obtain the data then try again?
-
-
Incidentally, the ones that I noticed had disappeared were all Hall of Famers. I can't help but wonder whether or not that's a coincidence.
-
How big should the SD card for the Wii be? What would be the most reliable way to back up the systems and data involved just in case things go wrong (and knowing my luck, they shall)?
-
Thank you! I'll be back if I have further questions or trouble.
-
Um, could you please link me to the instructions for that if it's not too troublesome and/or annoying?
-
Many of my PC Pokémon in Pearl have disappeared and I'm seemingly not the only one. Could somebody please investigate this, maybe find out how it works, how it can be prevented, how it can be fixed, etc?
