If the seed is kept until the day I advance but I reset the RTC (initial & elapsed) why the berries grow in game but daily events don't work? Berry Master and his wife don't want to give me more berries anymore.
I'm playing in original cartridge, I changed the internal battery and use PKHEx to restart the clock.I played this game for years, maybe the game keeps that information appart from the RTC...

About the ID/SID combination... I am a weirdy gamer who likes playing my own game from scratch, too. But... sometimes it's fun to choose the numbers. For example, I like my very first trainer ID in Pokémon Red so I put it on my new saves. Not in the main new game each generation, maybe in second or third attempt (playing in emulator, or with en editor).

In the future it'd be nice to have a more foolproof detection, but for now, just override if it's incorrectly detected.
That's exactly what I need
OK, thanks for the info. I searched for the option but I didn't find it.

I don't know why, but PKHex fails detecting the file version for some of my Ruby saves (from original spanish cartridge, 100% no cheats). I've been using Collosseum, XD and Pokémon Channel all these years with that game, maybe that's the reason... Maybe some data changed!?
I suggest implementing a manual version selector for RSE, if it's possible. I think that would fix the problem.
The save works fine with Trigger's PC (has version selector), but in PKHex I had problems with the trainer data and that stuff that are different in Emerald.
Thank you.BTW: Great job, best editor ever!!

This is awesome, Suloku!!
You're doing a great compilation work, our grandchildren will appreciate it.- 1

Hello.
Great job, Suloku. Thanks. I'm glad to have given you the Celebi.

Nice!
I was on a similar project many years ago, on a spanish forum.
sav: https://mega.nz/#!eEkwHRgA!K6YsRjAJ-E1ENm_xZBAj61KZJCB5-_v6UUmaN32-Mxw
The original post was lost and I don't remember what's in. We have a spanish Collosseum Ho-oh (OT: ERNESTO), spanish Channel Jirachis, spanish Box eggs, 10ANIV pokémon... And others.

Buying old games on eBay is cheaper than sending it to Italy, I think. We can make a contribution.
-
Tried on a spanish game, but the dealer speaks Italian (as expected)
-
I have to try this new editor, I had problems with pikaedit and others.
-
Yeah, but in terms of legallity, if you send games from countries that not had the event in the past, you can get it legally.
-
If we start to sending again our carts, illegal events on the past may be legal in 2016. lol
Or even italian events on french games, for example.
-
That mew isn't legit on a EUR/USA game. And if you get a legal mew from the 90s in a savegame and transfer it to your 3DS, the same.
So: Mew in EUR/USA VC games = Not legit.

In the OP there is the "?" near Italian Eon Ticket, so i think we miss it. Anyway i'll do it, because i want them. Nintendo just answered me and told me that it's still possibile to send them only Emerald, FireRed for Aurora Ticket and Sapphire for Son Ticket. I'll write here when i'll received back my games to share (if needed) the sapphire save file.
Awesome. Nintendo still gives tickets? Then they still have the official machine/way.
If only we could make a friend there, an infiltrate... Real.96, please, send some italian delights. I don't know what, but it doesn't matter. In Spain we do it with serrano ham, it works fine.
-
I'm glad that my save was useful
-
Dr. Matt, your RS save with eon ticket is one that can send eon tickets via mixing records right? If that's the case, the script for the event might still be in the save.
Sure. As I said, I distributed a few in 2003. I sent one via mixing records to my spanish emerald also, I don't remeber english text in that game during the process.
-
It is actually 99 tickets. Still, there is no way to "revive" that cartridge.
99+1, with the owner's ticket
-
The eon ticket distributed via e-reader is also re-distributable. Also, are you sure they were 100? I thought they were 50 tickets.
I received 100, but I distributed a few in 2003. More info: http://es.pokemon.wikia.com/wiki/Gira_Ticket_E%C3%B3n

Pokemon Ruby and Saphire didn't used Mystery Gift system. They used different system called "Mystery Event". The most of Mystery Events required e-Reader and e-Cards (like EON TICKET Event). Unlike Mystery Gifts, Mystery Events were distributed with a link cable, not with Wireless Adapter.
E-Reader Mystery Event distribution can be also emulated.

Here's a video I found. It shows how to emulate EON TICKET distribution. I hope this helped.
I know. In fact, link cable was the only way to communicate with GBA in 2002\2003. But if we can emulate the strange cartridge then it's all done! (for RS I mean)
I remember something like that in the other GBA screen, but i'm not sure. In addition, my cartridge received 100 eon tickets that I had to
distribute with other players in the records center, not only one.
I have to watch that video.
Thanks.

I though I had properly credited you in my post (I've edited it), I certainly did in the gen 2 forum.
No problem.
The ID is meant to be the same, maybe the first celebi they distributed was #00000 and they wrote #000001, so they were forced to keep the ID+1 in the certificates.
Yes, maybe.
Btw, any chance the certificate could be scanned? That would be awesome.
Yes, but as I said the certificate got wet, so isn't in good conditions. You can see one in this thread: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?4359-Mew-Certificate
-
I realise this thread dates back 2010, however if you have an Nintendo 3DS running either custom firmware or the homebrew channel this has recently become so much easier to do.
Using the homebrew app TWLSaveTool you can backup / restore DS saves directly on the 3DS totally offline. You don't need to mess about with legacy WEP secured wireless networks, Firewalls, FTP's servers or GBA / DS flashcards.
Essentially you load TWLSaveTool on the 3DS, dump the save to the 3DS's SD card, job done in under 20 seconds! The same goes for restoring saves too.
Wow, that's awesome!! I need it for restoring my saves from 5 gen.
-
Also, in this search I've been provided with the data from a FRANCO celebi distributed in Madrid (October 6 to 7, 2001 according to bulbapedia)
-OT: FRANCO
-ID: 02233
-Genes: 2D8A
(Atk 02 - Def 13 - Speed 8 - Special 10)
note: the gene calculation has been done manually, but the owner asures me that the celebi is at level 100 and has maxed experience.
According to bulbapedia attacks were:
- Slot 1: Leech Seed
- Slot 2: Confusion
- Slot 3: Heal Bell
- Slot 4: Recover
The owner has means to preserve the data (via pokemon stadium 2 and one of those devices that allowed to backup gb saves, but can't connect to computer). Still, given the structure of gen 1 pokemon, this data is enough to recreate those two pokemon.
That's my Celebi!!
I also had my certificate of authenticity. My Celebi is the 2234. Pretty similar to ID, 02233. I wonder if it's an error and it was supposed to be the same? Probably not.
PD: October 6, if I remember. It was a rainy day. My promotional poster and my certificate of authenticity got wet T.T.
Edit: The certificate (and my hands)

Hello. I was working on a similar project in a spanish forum many years ago, but at the moment we can't do anything (legal problems? Flanderism? I don't know) and part of the work has vanished. I met suloku in that forum last month, and now I'm interested in the 3rd gen Mistery Gift again. I used to read Project Pokémon forums, but when I saw this thread I had to say hello, at least.
I'd like to help, if I can.
It would be interesting to have a tool that emulates Wonder Spots. You know, these machines (Wonder Spots) were used for downloading Wonder Cards to your game, when you connect your GBA to them using Wireless Adapter. You could find them on real life events (like Pokémon Festa).(Wonder Spot from Pokémon Festa 2005 in Japan. It was used for downloading Old Sea Map.)
Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to make tool for Wonder Spots :frown:
THIS is my dream. I also remember a strange GBA cartridge in a spanish event, in Madrid. I had to connect my GBA with Pokémon Ruby using link cable to another GBA with this cartridge for downloading Eon Ticket.

Seguramente la fecha que detecta el juego en VBA y la de My Boy son distintas.
