I used run-as-date to expedite my berry growth a while back. I used dates from 2035 and would go day by day watering and picking my berries.
Now I've run into the problem where daily events won't happen anymore. The lottery won't run, NPCs who give daily berries won't give them to me, and Pokemon News won't run stories about swarms/rooftop sales/blend master.
Editing the RTC will allow time-based events to happen (like growing berries) but no matter what RTC data I use I can't retrigger daily/date-based events unless I run my game as if it were 2035 or beyond.
Anybody experience similar issues or know a fix? I'd like access to Pokemon News events.
Edit: After setting the initial time to FFFF my daily lottery/berry giveaway events are fixed. I still don't know if the TV events are fixed as I can't figure out what exactly triggers them. Advancing day by day for a month hasn't yielded any TV shows.
