Need help guys, I keep getting a bad egg. I saved the pokemon as .ekx, renamed the .ek6 file as .ekx but it still gives me a bad egg. Might it be because my version of the game isn't updated?

I have the same problem as u mentioned earlier I saved it as .ek6 then changed the extension to .ekx but I still receive a bad egg. Please advise me on what you did differently to get it to work
