  1. I'd hate to sound like a pain in the ass but there were a couple problems with the code ^^;

The Dusknoir didn't come out shiny, or nicknamed. And it had a Quiet nature instead of an Adamant one, so If you can fix it that'd be helpful, but I understand you probably have better things to do x]

I filled out one of these applications to make it simpler.

I have to get going from this rest stop in like 15 minutes, and I'll lose my internet connection until the next time we stop. So please, take your time.

    Thanks again!

nickname: Just "dusknoir" in lowercase so I can change it later.

id: (don't know it, and haven't the time to find it.)

secret id: (don't know it, and haven't the time to find it.)

    ot: Kazuma

    level:15

    ablity: Preasure

    held item: none

move set: Hypnosis, Swords Dance, Recover (Last move left blank)

pp usage for move set: normal

    nature: Adamant

    egg:no

    shiny:yes

    pokerus infected:cured

    ball caught in: Dusk Ball

    ev stats: normal

    iv stats: normal

    ribbons: none

    contest stats: normal

    location met: Spring Path

    *where*:Box18 Slot1

    *request*: AR code

    *which game*: Platinum

  2. Thanks a bunch man,

I would have waited for Hydra, but I'm gonna be in the car for the next 20-something hours on the way to florida for spring break.

So I was really hoping to have this Dusknoir ready to be trained on the way.

Since you were online it was just kinda more convenient this way, heh.

  3. I'm kinda new to the whole EV training thing myself,

But my first guess is that since you're just starting to train your weezing at lv. 99, it's EVs have probably already been maxed out, since there is a 510 point limit.

  4. I'm just looking for an AR code for a Dusknoir. I'd like for it to be:

    -Infected with PokeRus

    -Shiny

    -Adamant nature

-Nicknamed "Dusknoir", just so I can change it later myself.

    -Level 15

    -Caught in a Dusk Ball

-Box18 Slot1 or 1st slot in party for Platinum version

Other details such as EV and IV stats can just be normal. Sorry I didn't request this in another thread, but I wasn't sure if it fit.

Thanks to anyone who makes it

  5. I recently decided to pick up on the art of EV Training, and I'm a little confused.

    I'm trying to train my Tropius's Sp.Atk:

    -I'm using a Power Lens

-I gave it as many berries as I could to lower it's attack and speed EVs

-It has the cured PokeRus effect

-I'm on route 208, battling Budew, Roselia, and Raltz in order to gain EVs

-I have no idea what my EV levels are at, so I'm just guessing that if I keep gaining EVs in Sp. Atk, the stat should increase

After defeating 20+ of the pokemon listed above, my Tropius grew to level 41 and gained +22 points to it's Sp.Atk stat. Then I just ran to the Sandgem area, took out a badoof quickly, and used the super exp. gain AR cheat to gain a level, and now my Sp.Atk only goes up +3 points...

Do EVs reset after a pokemon grows a level?

  6. Regarding movesets,

I usually set each member of my team to have one of each of the following:

    -A Dodge\Counter

Say a foe uses a two-turn attack like Shadow Force, I teach my team moves like Fly, Bounce, Dive, and Dig so they can dodge the incoming attack, and land one of their own afterward. Moves like Me First, Protect, Detect, and Sucker Punch may fit into this category as well.

    -An Out of Element

I like my party pokemon to not know moves that are only of their type, but of sometimes the complete opposite type. A good example is my Lapras, who I taught Thunderbolt (Thunder has a lower accuracy). This way, my pokemon can be useful against a greater variety of attributes in battle.

    -A Staller

Sometimes when facing tanks, I require a little more time to inflict greater damage. By halting my opponents actions, I can do so. Moves like Attract (better for females), Hypnosis, Sing, and Swagger give me a much wider zone in order to focus on the offensive.

    -A Finisher or a Recovery

Depending on whether the pokemon I'm using is intended for a quick take out, or an impenetrable shield, I teach them either a move that has a power of 100 or greater with a accuracy level of 100, or I teach them a move that regains HP, such as Drain Punch or Giga Drain, but still does some damage.

  7. It might have to do with my hardware,

Because when I start the AR with new codes enabled, it doesn't say "saving changes" anymore.

However, when I go to use something else like Quick Exp. Gain code, it still works.

I'll fool around with it some more and fill you in if I get any positive results.

Oh, hah, the "save codelist changes" option wasn't checked off.

    I'll try the code now...

  8. Nope =\

All I have to do is start the game with the code enabled, right?

No pressing any buttons at the same time , replaceing a pokemon already in that slot, or taking a certain amount of steps?

I did just update my AR hardware, could that have something to do with it?

  9. Great, I will

    Thanks again

Sorry to bother you dude, but I just tried your code, and when I checked Box18 Slot1, there was no pokemon.

Does it need to replace a pokemon?

Do I need to press something other than L+R?

  10. Hey, I'm new to the whole AR Code and Pokesav thing,

And I'm really searching for a pokerus code so I can EV train my team to it's fullest.

Could someone create a code like this? Or at least a code for a pokemon who is infected with the virus that could spread it to the rest of my team?

    Thank you.
