I've been trying to use Pokegen for breeding purposes (ie, getting a hacked pokemon, breeding it for a real one) but I've been having issues. I've tried a Rufflet, Scyther, Remoraid and Petilil to no avail. The error I get is when trying to open the box that pokemon is in. The screen goes blue and it tells me an error has occured. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Been following guides and have searched the forum. I leave the PID blank (iirc, it gets filled out automatically in game) and nickname blank (which I think fills in the default name). I got it to work once with Zorua on my friend's pokemon black, but when I tried on my own pokemon black I get this error. Want to note that I have double checked the code is for Black, since googling the pokegen pc error brings up that answer a lot.

Ok, so I found the thread that provides the fix for this issue. I put both codes in, started up my game, pressed select+UP, and it didn't work. I don't mind losing any pokemon in my PC, as my only important ones are in my party. I just really don't want to lose my progress. The pokemon was in box 1. Would deleting box 1 fix it?

I'm pretty sure I broke my save file, but I thought I'd check here first before making a new one. I made a code for Petilil (I dont have any friends with White, they all got black) and, for some reason, I saved after activating the code. I put the pokemon in slot 1 of box 1, and whenever I try to use my game, it gets an error and I have to restart. I've tried to put other stuff in slot 1 to fix it, but it keeps crashing. Do I need to restart? EDIT: I fixed it by using a code to delete the box the pokemon was in. I will look harder for that FAQ next time.
