You mean you're at current playing on a rom, wanting to register to the PKM BW1 & 2 PGL, and then wish to buy the original game cart later, but still want to use the same GAME SYNC ID for that PKM BW 1 & 2? If so, the GAME SYNC ID is generated and kept in the save file. So theoretically, you can, on the condition you have a device such as the 'R4i Save Dongle' to inject the said save file into the official game cart. Without that, I don't think it's possible.

The Pokémon Global Link Website which was first introduced in September 2010 allows you to play in the Dream World, play mini flash games, and customize your C-Gear, Musical, and Pokedex Skin for Pokemon Black and White 1 and Pokémon Black and White 2 is heading for it's permanent closure on January 14th 2014 (Tuesday). It will then be replaced with a new version of Pokémon Global Link for Pokémon X and Y. Details of the new version yet to be disclosed by the website.

The closing phases;

1. October 1st - 12th 2013; Scheduled Maintenance (As Usual)
   
2. October 12th 2013 - Onward; New Registration will not longer be accepted, existing members can't register additional games to their account
   
3. December 10th 2013; No longer able to tuck-in any pokemon into the Dream World, any sleeping pokemon may still be woken up, and it's your last chance to customize your C-Gear Skin, Pokedex Skin, and Musical Data
   
4. January 14th 2014; Final Closure of the Website PGL service (If you need to wake up any pokemon from the PGL so that any befriended pokemon will be registered into your game and any customized option reflected into your game save, do so by January 13th 2014, any action done after January 14th will not be reflected into your game save), all WI-FI service will be permanently closed
   

Here's the time table for the above mentioned phases;

* X = Cannot, O = Can

Once the site is closed down for all regions, any pokemon un-woken will no longer be downloadable to your game card's save file, and all C-Gear Skins, Pokedex Skins, items and berries gathered, dream world befriended pokemon, etc. no longer available. Thus this officially marks the end of the NDS/NDSL's Pokémon era. The 2013 Global Showdown Wi-FI Competition held on July 26th - 29th will the the last ever WI-FI competition held for Pokémon Black and White 1 and 2.

As the release of the Pokémon X and Y 3DS game draw closer, and the Pokémon Black and White's PGL site's closure moves closer, the new Pokémon Global Link site plans and it's official launching will be disclosed. Till then, stay tune for those of you looking forward to this feature.

Probably because Nico Nico Douga is a Japanese video sharing website host (the equivalent to Youtube.com), maybe some of the video they might air during the event will contain potentially inappropriate contents for minors below 18 years old. Also they might throw in beers and sake beverages, and probably even cosplay actors/ess (which normally don't wear 'proper' clothing to cover certain parts of their skin).

I'm unable to make head or tail what the text says via Google Translate, however judging from the messy translation and images on the website, it's something to do with a live gathering event.

A new Japanese WiFi Competition has been announced. This WiFi tournament is called the Pokémon NicoNico Championships 2013 and ties in with the video distribution company NicoNico Douga. This competition will run from April 6th to April 8th and the top 4 players will be invited to battle within a real life competition at the NicoNico Conference 2 later in April. Due to the real life conference being age restricted, the WiFi Competition is restricted to players over the age of 18. Further details on this competition will be revealed March 22nd 2013.

Wood R4 and YSMENU/TTMENU both uses the same usrcheat.dat.

Note:

Registration: March 15th - 21st 2013

Competition: March 22nd - 25th 2013

So annoying, according to Serebii.net, the C-Gears are given to those who participated and made it into the rankings.

Last time I read (before the competition), it only said 'given to those who participated and at least play 1 round'.

Frankly I'm not sure RoC, probably yes. Given that participants get replicas of the gym badges for participating in the event.

Oh! Thanks guys for clearing that up. So it's a TCG online match that rewards those pokemon in the PGL Dream World.

I don't play TCG online (can't run it due to computer spec limit) or even collect any of those physical TCG cards.

Seems to me it's a Dream World event since the pokemon will be sent through the dream world mechanism? But what does 'Nimbasa Gym Session', 'Castelia Gym Session', and 'Virbank Gym Session' mean? I don't see any such event in Pokémon.com, is it some sort of competition or what?

How to participate to qualify? I simply don't understand.....

If it requires completing/defeating the gym leaders at those gyms, I'm doomed...I've only got as far as defeating gym leader 1 (Cheren) and still level grinding before heading to Gym Leader 2 in BW 2. Why so slow? Because I'm still trying to complete BW 1's extra events (catching the sages, roaming pokemons, etc.).

How do I use PokeSav or PokeGen

with No$Zoomer Emulators?

Just run the Pokegen program, and choose to open the save file to edit it.

Nothing too fancy about it.

I tested it again just seconds ago via IE, it's now downloaded fine. I no longer see that error. You must have changed something that makes it now work.

The Sleeping Eevee C-Gear skin in the main gallery page shows error.

For those of you using the Japanese region game, registration starts today (February 15th) through the PGL account. Competition starts on February 23rd. Participants will be awarded 3 C-GEARS; Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

* Kindly please share the .cgb files for these 3 if anyone join the event. :tongue:
