  1. Shoutbox was disabled because Pokécheck is currently under preparatory work for the gen-6 engines. WiFi Services for gens 4 and 5 were terminated by Nintendo a week ago.
  2. Out of abilities 184 and 185, one is Aerilate and the other Parental Bond; we just don't know which is which just yet because these abilities are exclusive to Mega's (Pinsir and Kangaskhan respectively), and the Mega's revert to normal after the battle is over, so is there a way to memory check during a battle? I'm leaning towards no because there's no Nintendo 3DS emulator out yet, let alone one that has memory watch. (Yes, I am a member of the TASvideos forums as well, so I know this stuff.)
  3. So the whole moral of the story is, Pokécheck needs to take into account combatants' positions during a triples.
  4. Battle video 56-38289-91891 is between a rain team and a sand team. Everything goes awry here in Vs. Player, what with too many of Gastrodon's Storm Drains activating, Azumarill not being alive on turn 5, etc, because Vs. Player doesn't take into account the relative positions of the combatants.
  5. Battle video 48-94545-14508 is a random matchup triples. Hippowdon's Crunch actually hit Glalie (Oniglali) instead of Salamence (Drattak), its target in Vs. Player. Otherwise, the battle synchs perfectly (only because Salamence and Claydol are immune to the used Earthquake anyway; they actually weren't targets because Hippowdon wasn't the center).
  6. Something wrong with the RNG calls on battle video 60-53940-70232? Therefore battle desynchs (and therefore Richard is deemed victorious according to Vs. Player, when in actuality ThePikaWu managed to comeback and win). .
  7. Speaking of Sky Drop, battle video 63-77566-06637 desynchs on turn 15. Braviary actually landed the Sky Drop on Arcanine but instead (according to Vs. Player) got KO'd by Fire Blast. Sky Drop needs to be fixed.
  8. Minor issue with battle video 60-47237-09910 involving Sky Drop. On turn 2 when Sky Drop was used (Swadloon was the intended target), Swadloon managed to connect a Bug Bite aimed at Sceptile (which shouldn't have happened), but it didn't affect the rest of the battle (apart from RNG calls) because the Bug Bite wouldn't have clean OHKO'd Sceptile anyway, and Sceptile didn't take any damage otherwise.
  9. Uh-oh! It appears that battle video 91-83734-40501 is wrong, Crunch was used on Baltoy instead of Gengar on turn 5, and the fight glitches up. This is what actually happened.
  10. A whole lot is going out of whack in battle video 32-02809-66409, where moves hit the wrong targets. Apparently triples still hasn't been taken care of fully.
  11. https://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=149738416712 Genesect held Douse Drive. Techno Blast was supposed to do Water-type damage to Magnemite, resulting in a 2HKO, but it said Magnemite resisted (which would mean Normal-type), so there was no 2HKO according to Vs. Player.
  12. It is Heart Swap that swaps stat alterations, not Psych Up.
  13. color change is not implemented properly https://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=875735434419 look at turn 5. (E: Kecleon doesn't take sand damage the following turns. It's just a text implementation, it's just supposed to say "Kecleon became ground type" not "T-tar became rock type" (and later on, on turn 7, "Ferro became electric type"))
  14. Red Card and Dragon Tail Interaction Turn 6 https://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=918373474641 On turn 6, when it said "Dylan was forced to replace Deliani with Wash", Deliani's (Forretress) Red Card activated according to Vs. Player when it really shouldn't have. Rest is desynched due to this. What actually happened (Interaction occurs at 13:32 in the video)
  15. I looked through the coding. This should be corrected: case 145: // Big Pecks if($s==2 && $v<0) return false; break; Doesn't the "2" denote Attack? That should be a "3" to denote Defense. E: Wait, in some context 2 denotes Attack, whereas elsewhere 2 denotes Defense.
  16. We have a problem here: http://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=361950655182 Encore in rotation. The battle is synched up until the point where it says "Iceboy's Minun used Encore on Vaporeon", on Turn 4. In the real video, the Encore failed, and the Taunted Vaporeon went for Hydro Pump. (The Vs. Player claimed that the Encore worked, and Vaporeon would've used Aqua Ring but didn't use it because of Taunt.) Rest is desynched because of this, but it didn't change the battle too much.
  17. Wonder launcher single battle: http://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=471490497980 On turn 1, Illuminate's (Starmie) Psychic was supposed to do 64 damage, not 54, to Gastrodon, and the same-turn Mirror Coat was then supposed to do 128 instead of 108. (Illuminate held a Twisted Spoon.) Afterwards, on turns 10-12, the RNG desynched because Evil's (Alomomola) HP wasn't synched during these launcher turns. In particular, Pikachu's Static was supposed to reparalyze Yaiba (Samurott) after the Aqua Jet. And later on, Tepig was supposed to get a Return off on Yaiba for 38 damage (this was supposed to be a full paralysis turn). But it didn't change the battle too significantly.
  18. Problems With Copycat http://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=674939025171 Copycat is supposed to call the last move successfully used, not the last move a Pokémon was trying to use (which in this case was Crustle's X-Scissor, hence the desync), Riolu actually went for a semi-sweep with Copycat Roars until the last Pokémon (Scrafty in this case), then Scrafty went to town with Rest and Shed Skin.
  19. https://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=583172871612 U-Turn and Payback interaction, Turn 3 The Ditto that transformed into Cinccino U-turned into Vulpix while Conkeldurr went for the Payback. It says it KO'd Vulpix (this is a burned Guts Conkeldurr, mind you!) but replace due to knockout didn't happen, and the battle desynched afterward. The trainer with Cinccino and Conkeldurr ran away on Turn 9 anyway.
  20. There are other triple battles that don't work normally in Vs. Player. https://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=686411810824 Unfortunately, this is broken, so I can't view it on the real thing, but starting turn 2 things get suspicious. Meowth's Beardy using Psychic on own Claydol? Even gets the Sp Def drop!? And the winner is yet to be declared. Does Vs. Player not recognize the "Shift" function in triples?
  21. http://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=23-05956-86161 Even in singles format, Wide Guard is supposed to protect the user from the opponent's Blizzard. On turn 6, according to Vs. Player, the Blizzard hit through Wide Guard when it shouldn't have in the real thing. The actual battle lasted ten turns, where on turn 10 Mienshao's Acrobatics finished off Glaceon. http://www.pokecheck.org/?bid=71-58348-36850 The user of Fling should have lost its held item. It said Muk restored health with Black Sludge when it didn't have it anymore, so on Vs. Player, Togekiss' Air Slash didn't finish Muk off because of the Black Sludge recoveries that shouldn't have happened in the real thing. (Edit: apparently Fling hasn't even been coded in at ALL!)
  22. http://vsplayer.pokecheck.org/?bid=197957682169 It messed up from turn 2 because of Beat Up mechanics. http://vsplayer.pokecheck.org/?bid=472061770362 Sucker Punch is supposed to fail if the target already used a priority move before the Sucker Punch user.
  23. That explains it. It should have copied stats, typing, and Ability.
  24. Having problems with transform? http://vsplayer.pokecheck.org/?bid=46-42996-07594 According to Vs. Player, the real Excadrill broke the speed tie on the last turn when it was actually Ditto who broke the speed tie. Upon transformation to Excadrill, Ditto actually gains immunity to sandstorm damage. That may be the reason for the RNG desync.
