    Hey!

Hello World! this is my very second post on these forums. my name is b33f3r and i am a little addicted to pokemon: silver (why did i ever get rid of my GBC) leafgrean (yay for my DSlite being able to play GBA games) diamond / pearl / platinum heart gold / soulsilver black / white at some near future moment i will add all my FCs to my profile. @charlemagnexvi: with the advent of fakeGTS like pokecheck.org and shiny2 and utils like pokegen i see little to no need for the ARDS. sure there are item, xp, and other codes you cannot use without it, but we all know we really just want the pokemon. however i am sheepishly proud to say that i have a 3DS and DSlite. i even used to have an ARDS, but chucked it because it was starting to fail and i found pokegen and ir-gts.
  2. ir-gts is ok. i used to use it too. i had the same issue several times and it was always because i had forgot to extract the files from the zip they were downloaded in. if you have used that script before and not recently downloaded it again, then this is likely not the issue. but double check that you have extracted the necessary files and installed python correctly. i always launched the "executable" before trying to send the pkm file. try that. as far as version is concerned; the newest version is .05 or .5 i think. you can get it at his google code dev site thing. that said: i recommend shiny2. i found it last night and it is awesome. and best of all, i found that an exact copy of a pokemon caught in-game, with NO CHANGES, sent back to the game with ir-gts would fail legal checks in random matchup. shiny2 does not have this problem. given the development status of ir-gts, no progress, and the currently supported and continual development of shiny2 i recommend switching.
