  1. I recently found this forum and I'm loving the knowledge to be found here. The last couple days I've been playing around with a couple GTS emulators (ir-gts-bw and shiny2). I'm having some trouble connecting with some older DS hardware though, and I'm hoping someone here can point me to some information explaining whats occuring. I'm able to connect to the DNS proxy from my 3DS system and from other computers on my LAN, but when I try to connect with my old DS fat or DS Lite, no requests make it through. Ive run some Wireshark traces, and the requests for the older systems disappear after DS finds the local gateway through ARP. This leads me to believe that older systems are trying to reach the dns proxy from my WAN address. Is this really what is occuring? Are there any known workarounds for this? I'd like to keep a local (private) collection of pokemon files, and im not to keen on giving my daughter my 3DS yet!
