The English logos are too tall for the texture structure. The ones I made use most of the English logo, but forgo the typical overused Pokemon trademark sign that is often used at the top, for the more creative Japanese Pokeball in the logo concept. The classic logo could be scaled way down to fit, but it would then become very blurry and ugly looking, given the current space restriction.

This is just a minor nitpick, but I think the Black 2 Logo is a little off:

The part that says "Pokemon" isn't supposed to be completely red, but like the White 2 Logo, where it's cut off to look like Pokeball. Again, this is just a minor nitpick, not a big deal but it would be cool if it can be fixed for V3. Great job and thank you to all the people who made this project possible!

It was a design choice I made. I at first had it half cut like that, but it left a big black space between the L and A that look aesthetically unpleasing. So I opted for this slightly altered design for the black.

The actual English logo doesn't even have the pokeball, it just says Pokemon above it in the classic trademark style.

But maybe putting a line where it normally ends might be an even better choice, so it feels more like a pokeball.. hmm

How do we apply both patches that are within the v2 packages?

I applied the 'PKMNBLKENGv2PROJECTPKMN', then when I attempted to apply the 'PKMNBLKENGv2PROJECTPKMNJapanesePokemonNames' I get a checksum error.

Yes, you only apply one of the patches, it is up to preference.

By the way, to note, those "some cards" only include the Supercard DSTWO. Nothing else can run the games clean yet. I wouldn't say the problem of one person with a DSTWO is the problem of everybody.

Not true, my CycloDS Evolution runs the clean ROM fine.

But using a clean ROM from the same link for both, it isn't playable with this patch. So I'm figuring that's what'd be... But I dunno.

I'm gonna wait a bit anyway and see how this develops.

Hi, is there a patch version that doesn't translate wild Pokémon names, so they are considered legit by Pokécheck?

In the mediafire link, there is a folder named "English versions with Jap pokemon names". I believe this is what you're looking for!
