thank you, cause I realized if I change Basculin's name and sprite, I could allow it to "evolve" into its other forme, and have it "evolve" in a continous loop, effectivly killing off Basculin populations, the only problem then is the moveset.

slightly off topic, is there a way to cause evolution by key item?

I was wondering if in Black and White, it was possible to add new Formes to Legendary Pokemon for my Hack. The new formes I am adding are for Pokemon that don't already have new formes, and I have a basic sprite for already. I want to be able to have them change forme like shaymin (with a key item)... is it possible in Black and White, and if not, in Generation 3 or 4?

uhh, I just changed some trainer sprites, i think it was narc file a072. after that I used a tool that edited my rom and changed the images of two people to test the new trainers, which i did with a program that edited the rom. EDIT: I think it might be because i opened a save state, and since the data from the game was different it froze.

I did an extensive edit of my pokemon black rom, under the working title Pokemon Musketeer Version. When I go to open the gift to get my starters, the game freezes. The game also did that before I changed the PvP sprites for the Wonder Launcher to Admins of Team Plasma, when I went to battle Bianca the first time. Any ideas as to how to fix it?

How do I add a patch to the file for a ROM, I am new to these things, and have a hack I would like to try out.
