  1. One big difference Gen 5 made was that TMs had unlimited use. Which was a godsend. Meanwhile, for Gen 3 games it has also been figured out how to implement it. Pretty simple hex edit really if you know how to follow instructions.

But I've seen nothing of the sort of Gen 4 games. Naturally they aren't as easy to hack as Gen 3 games afaik. So I'd assume it won't just happen by snapping your fingers. Yet I don't see anything about it at all. Like no one is even giving it a thought to implement the unlimited use of TMs in Gen 4 games. Has nobody tried this yet or they have and given up?

From a non-hacking perspective it's such a small thing that changes a lot. So it would be great if it could be implemented in Gen 4 games too and not just Gen 3 games.
Mostly because I don't really care much for the gen 3 style games.

  2. Woops, this probably was my problem, though earlier today I did download the one randomspot555 posted after going through the topic just in case the one listed on the front wasn't updated....just couldn't test it cause I had to wait 6h for DW @.@ (I didnt even see the edit in the first post *facepalm*)

Good to know that this was the problem! Thanks for the help, sorry for being a bother :P!

Yup, woops for me too. xD

    Thanks for the help. :)

  3. That is a known bug in the program. There's a couple Pokemon in the Sparkling Sea that'll cause a crash.

Just restart the program and boot it back up. Is that too much to ask? Consider the alternative is going through all the DW Island of Dreams stuff manually.

If you're tucking in a Water type Pokemon, you're more likely to go to Sparking Sea. So try tucking in...I dunno a Bug type or something.

The other option, I would imagine, is to completely whipe the history of your browser and cookies and try it all again.

Third day in a row I only get Sparkling Sea. Never had a Water-type tucked in.

    But I'll try that last thing tomorrow, wouldn't be surprised if that was the magical solution. ^_^;

  4. Its doing the same exact thing to me ):

It goes to Sparkling Sea every single time, loads the a few Pokemon, then crashes, then you run it again and get the same exact Pokemon as before....crash....then repeat.

Oddly enough it IS getting the Pokemon....just the same exact Pokemon each time from Sparkling Sea over and over again....I have been getting the same results since using DW for White 2 :/

This is exactly what I'm getting.

  5. Also, where can I download the emulator for this hack? The "official website", http://poketrainerpokemongames.weebly.com/, requires me to "take a survey" before getting access to the hack and emulator sites. The surveys consist of giving all of my information to a random website in order to win a "free $250 gift card" and other bogus things like that. And there's no way I'm going to do that.

Never heard of Google, I assume?

  6. hi drayano, im having tons of fun using your Great mod of pokemon black n white. i only have one issue.i have the original and have completed it so i decided to giv yours a try, now i have two badges. and have spent a massive amount of time running around trying to find a shaking patch of grass and however i am led to believe its not functioning propperly.. is there any action replay that i can activate then. to fix this?? or is there anything u suggest? thanks in advance.

You're probably just very unlucky. I have had no problems with encountering shaking patches of grass, besides the fact that it takes a while sometime.

  7. Hello there.

First, I must say that I am incredibly thankful that someone went to the bother to create this. I have been a fan of the Pokemon franchise since its beginning, though I never played any of the video games because it always irked me that you couldn't CATCH 'EM ALL in any one game, and that acquiring a large number of Pokemon required trading them etc (I play video games to NOT interact with other people). So when a friend of mine found this hack for me and set me up with it, I was thrilled that I could finally become a Pokemon master and CATCH 'EM ALL just as I had always dreamed.

However, I do have some questions.

1: What does this mean: "4 event items are available through in-game trades. Allowing access to event legendaries. (Be sure to remove the items from the pokemon once the trade is completed!)" What is an event item? What is an in-game trade? Remove what items from what pokemon once what trade is completed? I do want to catch these pokemon, but not being an experienced pokemon game-player, I am baffled by this brief instruction. Could someone please explain this process more thoroughly?

2: I see from earlier in this thread that there was some talk of an informal location list. Did this ever happen? I would be highly interested in it. Namely because I keep being stumped in my efforts to CATCH 'EM ALL.

I haven't encountered any bugs or anything in my play-through of this game. Many thanks again for its creation; I never want to play pokemon any other way.

1: An event item is a special that activates an event that allows you to fight/catch a legendary pokemon otherwise not accessible. ex. the Azure Flute to activate the Arceus event. An in-game trade is trading pokemon with a random character that appears in the game. ex. NPC offers you a Buizel and asks for a Combee in return. The pokemon you get will hold one of the event items that are needed to access the event legendaries.

2: Someone was working on a Location list but we never heard from him again. So basically there is no list available currently.
