I have a question. How do I connect to the GTS if Nintendo has disabled the the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection part and it no longer works? I've got the error screen on my PC in Pokemon White and I tried the 6/7 delete Box codes but when I went to open the PC the error screen came still. How do I fix this?
Sorry for the late reply my friend. I guess I just need to regularly check this thread, since the email notifications seem to not work for me. =/
I haven't tried this since they shut those down, but I think that this method may still work. I will check it and EDIT with results.

Glad to know this guide is still helping people. Thanks for posting, guys!
Well, life got busy and I realized I never got around to testing and modifying those B2/W2 box delete codes. Will work on those and add them to the guide soon.

What .NET framework version is required? I don't have access to Windows machine, and WINE + .NET was always a gamble...
WINE and Wineskin aren't compatible with NET framework 4 at all as far as I know. But from the sound of Codemonkey's post, it may not take much to compile a Mac friendly version:
Pretty sure it's 4.0. The backend library is vanilla C++ so I could compile a version for Linux / Mac if people need it.That would be much appreciated, codemonkey, if you have the time. Would like to be able to help in some way if possible.

It's a hardware issue. Animal Crossing and Pkm XY don't store saves the same way other DS/3DS games do.
No update can fix this, only a new device can.
I'll have to read up on this more. Is the NDSAP the only one or do ALL current save backup devices share this problem?

Technically, the first one I ever SAW was a shiny Magneton. I was watching my stepdaughter play her Diamond game. She knew it was shiny, but didn't understand how RARE they are. She said "I'll come back and catch it later" and ran Later, she said "I wonder where that shiny Magneton is?" I didn't have the heart to say anything....
MY first shiny was a Tranquill in my Pokemon Black game.
Not long after that, I was playing the Ash Grey FireRed hack, and ran into a shiny Nidoran(female). I was able to move it to my FireRed game using Pokemon Encyclopedia

Games the NDS Adapter Plus does NOT (nor ever will... spoke with the crew over there) work with:
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Pokemon X
Pokemon Y
Nintendo has changed how the data is being saved onto these cartridges (and likely all 1st party titles.)
Never? I have the NDSAP as well and I knew it currently didn't work, but I thought that maybe they'd be able to eventually work it out once the encryption was broken. Pardon my ignorance on the specifics, but even with a new save format, if it could eventually be decrypted, why couldn't it work?

HKLives, did you ever find a solution? Check the Black2/White2 AR code thread. If someone hasn't already made a delete box code for those games, you can ask about it. I'll look too and will update if I find it. Best of luck!
EDIT: Found it! Once again, thanks to DeltaBlastBurn for generating these codes!

I haven't personally tested these codes yet, but I will and once I have, I'll be adding them to the guide.
And sorry HKLives for not seeing your reply 'til now. I thought I had email notifications turned on for this thread, but I didn't =/

The links for most of the files are broken. They were megaupload apparently.

Hatching bad eggs? I didn't think you could do that without ruining your save (or maybe that's only in Gen 3?) I'd be wary of actually hatching the thing...

Sorry for the double post, but I really wanted to share this. This was a PM I received not long ago based on this guide. It made me feel so good
Hello,So, I basically made an account on here so I could thank you for your post about the pokemon box blue screen of death. I made a foolish mistake in using an AR code on my living Pokedex black, trying to get everstones so I could trade the evolving-by-trade pokemon to black 2 without them evolving before I had finished doing a majority of the trading. I felt very stupid and pissed since I just lost hundreds of hours of work and was quite devastated. When I ran across your post, and it worked, I knew I had to thank you personally. I don't know how much work you actually did put into researching all of the data in your post, but I thank you for all of it.

What's the best (= safest) computer program to edit save files?
PokeGen all the way, especially for adding Wondercards to your save.
Just always keep a backup of your save on your computer, regardless. I have NEVER had a problem using PokeGen, but it never hurts to have a backup.
That's the great thing about using Pokedoc's tool to back up your save, you can keep backups of it tucked away in case something happens to your cart.
-
It would be great if the code to do it were cracked, but given how hard it's said to be, it's unlikely that it will happen (at least any time soon).
Personally, I won't mind just Genning my Pokes in B2/W2 and using whatever the 6th gen equivalent to PokeTransfer is. I wonder how their gonna work that anyway? It'd be great if it were a 3DS program that would let you hot swap the carts and not need a second DS/3DS. >_<
-
When it worked for you were you able to withdraw and deposit other pokemon? Because it isn't working for me.
Like evandixon said, what codes did you use recently?
If you weren't trying to use a Wonder Card code, the problem could exist in another box. If that's the case, there's a detection method for figuring out which box is the problem in my guide.
What method for fixing it were you using?
-
Yeah, PGME is not the easiest thing in the world to use, so it might take you some time to get your bearings. (It was the same way for me)
How are you putting the Pokes in his game now, BTW? AR or are you able to dump saves?
-
It is really useful and great! But, what about B2/W2?
If the Black2/White2 wonder cards are the same format as the Black/White wonder cards, would the program NEED to be updated for it to support Black2/White2?
EDIT: I just opened the Genesect B2/W2 English Wonder Card and everything looks normal.

Answer two things for me: What game is your cousin's game and how are you planning to get the pokemon on there?
The NPC delivery guy shows up when you receive a Mystery Gift, so you'd need to create your own Wonder Card.
You can use Pokémon Mystery Gift Editor (v1.4.3). Start here because even if you make a Pokemon in Pokegen, you can't import it into the Wonder Card. Try and find one that has moves and a "location met" that is the closest to what you want to give your cousin, because these two things are not easy to edit in PMGE.
Then you can use Pokegen to either generate an AR code or put the wonder card in the save file (but that's only if you've dumped the save file to your computer).
If you go the AR route, be especially careful to follow Codr's Sticky: "Questions, answers, and troubleshooting" on proper use of these kinds of AR codes and DO NOT SAVE if the code doesn't work, or you could screw up your cousin's save =/

Check out Pokecheck and PokeGTS. I've only used Pokecheck but I haven't used it with my 3DS.
Also check out this thread: Pokémon Hacking Tutorials: EVERYTHING on GTS Spoofing. There's a vid here that details setting up your 3DS for this.
Also, this thread on the PokemonGTS.com forums has some useful info in it.

I'll help you out, but ONLY because I can make back-ups of my save. Honestly, I wouldn't do it otherwise. And hey, it's Christmas.
PM me and let me know your Friend Code and when you'll be on (I'm in the US on the east coast)
-
You have to either borrow/buy an AR or somehow copy your save file to your computer. I don't know of any other way to get rid of it. Sorry =/
EDIT: Whoops! The codes I posted only work in Black and White, not Black 2 and White 2.
And now you know: egg+GTS = trouble.

Laxsmart, you can create the box of Pokemon, select them all and generate a code for the selected Pokemon (there's a check box you can check on the code generator screen).
However, if you're planning to use this with an Action Replay, I'm pretty certain that it will not work. Reason being the AR can't handle REALLY long codes like that. I've tried using a code for generating a box FULL of Pokemon, and it didn't work (and I'm pretty certain I did everything correctly). If someone out there has done this successfully, please let us know, but so far I've not seen where it can be done (at least with an Action Replay.)

Hi everyone! I am looking for a Pokemon White Version 2.sav cause mine somehow was corrupted and don't want to spend 50+ hours on it again! I would like one with at least the 8 badges! Thank you!!
What is exactly is wrong with your save? It may be fixable.

I made this and want to share:

There's a tutorial for that:

WOW. Life got away from me again I apologize, man. Anyway, I checked, and you are right, sir. Because Nintendo discontinued the wifi services for these games, the detection method no longer works. At this point, I would suggest you load all the box delete codes and just go through them one by one. Alternatively, you could get one of the save dongles and dump your save and edit it directly. I know it costs money, but it's SO easy with PokeGen, and will allow you to save all your pokemon. Out of curiosity, what code were you using before this error came up? Was it a wonder card code?
