Your secret ID is part of your identity as a trainer. If the SID of a pokemon does not match yours, the game thinks the pokemon was not originally yours. In short, changing the SID may make it difficult for the pokemon to obey you.

NOTE: this is meant to be used with a Fake GTS Program (i.e. HyperGTS, Shiny DTS/GTS), but mainly with the HyperGTS modified by Shiny Jirachi. The only difference is that Public IP Detection has been fixed so you don't have to manually go to whatismyip.com anymore. Download MediaFire Whatismyip.com changed their automation page.
