Say you have some LEGIT Japanese Pokemon, and you can't to play with them on Wifi on a US version of the game, would the game accept them as Legit or are they also banned?

My Pokemon here are legal, but for some odd reason they aren't passing the legality check. The legality check says "Valid" or "Hatched" but the game still doesn't accept them. I can confirm there are no 4th gen moves and the PIDs are correct. These Pokemon are 100% legal, I obtained them legally in Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon Soul Silver, but Pokemon Black isn't accepting them as "legal" Pokemon.
