    Wii U

I didn't feel the Wii was gimmicky. Once I got used to the controls, I thought they were really comfortable and easy to use. Not having to hold the controller in the typical two handed manner made it more relaxing combined with the motion control was really nice. NOT that I mind regular controllers, it was just different and good. Sadly, there weren't a lot of RPG games that I wanted for the Wii. Lack of third party support in that genre was very disappointing. That being said, I feel that there's a lot of potential with the Wii U. I hope all those third parties follow through and bring some good games to the table. The downside is that it's back to a two handed controller experience. Still, it looks really interesting and I can't wait to see the finished product.
  5. I did that with the Flying Pika I got from Bryant Park and it wouldn't pass random wifi. I edited the move back on once I transferred it.
  6. Super Rumble looks pretty cool. Thanks for the tip. I wonder how they're going to work 3D into that. I like the 3DS but I don't use a lot of 3D either. My daughter likes more 3D than me, so it's nice that they put that slider to very the 3D intensity. Re Pokemon 3D, I got three sent via SpotPass today. I hadn't realized that you needed to scan all the AR codes in before it would start sending you pokes every day. I'm hoping it will be the same tomorrow..

    Hiya

Thanks.. I was starting to think the intros were just for reading purposes and maybe we weren't supposed to reply
  8. Ugh, I HAD to find this on youtube and now it's stuck in my head!!!!!! argh! Mirror B was full of awesome though. I used Ludicolo for the longest time after that haha.
  9. SNAP was the first game I downloaded into the Wii from the Shopping Channel. Good times! I can still sit and watch my daughter (21) play it and have fun doing so. Of course, I like playing it, too
  10. It downloaded 6 legendaries today. But, I thought it was supposed to download one from spotpass too. Maybe tomorrow. TodayI got all the AR codes scanned in. (had the day off from work) Maybe I can start getting some of the pokes downloaded into the game now. I guess it's kind of neat. It seems like it would be kind of hard to get every one including the few gender differents. It's definitely not something I would want to pay for though.
  11. One thing I like a LOT about the Wii U is that you use the tv for other things if need be and just start playing on the handheld part. I think that's super cool! It's really opening up a lot of possibilities and I find it quite exciting. There's so many interesting things on the horizon in gaming.
  12. I"ve played a bit. I have a 78 Fender P bass that I got in 79, my main instrument is an 86 Gibson SG. It's a 62 reissue that's pretty nice, I usually run it through a twin reverb. When I want effects I use the Roland GR-1 guitar synth and my Digitech 2101 effects. It's a pretty versatile setup and a lot of fun to play with. My acoustic is a 65 Gibson that's got a lovely tone. I like a lot of types of music but lately I play either blues or some weird trance thing with this synth player I know.
  13. I think I misunderstood SpotPass. From what I've read now, it looks like it works via wifi when the 3DS is in sleep mode. I guess this is the fist spin-off Pokemon game for the 3DS. Neat, but still seems kind of meh, to me.
  14. I think that whatever people do is okay as long as it's not affecting others. I don't think it's right to ruin other people's fun on wifi by being deceitful. I don't understand the fun or what satisfaction that gives.
  15. First, I wasn't sure where to post this. I did look around first. Now that the update is out for the 3DS, Nintendo has it's first Pokemon title on it. Best of all, it's free. Least of all, it's somewhat underwhelming. I played with it a while this morning and I like the look of it, but I felt that I just didn't know what to do with it. The sprites that were in it look great. All of the Pokemon have AR codes which I think is pretty neat. But I have no idea how to transfer my pokedex from my cart into it. Also, it would have been nice to be able to trade Pokemon indexes via wifi with people on my friends list. All I could find was via infrared search transfer. I hope it holds more promise than I saw at first glance.
