  2. you should search for a wide empty space after 02000000 and before the game's data and use it instead of 02002180 in both games, then you have to correct the parts of the code that acceed to the values the codes used to write in 02002180 so that they look for them at the new address.

    I have yet to understand if those addresses are are chosen randomly by coders or if there's a criterion.

  3. For the above codes: to be more accurate, the name of both codes should be "Call Curtis/Yancy on Xtransceiver Anytime" since whether you can call Curtis or Yancy depends on which gender you're playing as, not which version you're playing.

    Just mentioning this in case someone might get confused.

    the ones I gave you are correct for the code you posted. if they don't work, another part of the code is wrong or the address 02002180 can't be used in the french versions.

    for white 2, the 2 lines should be 0218167C FD88F680 and 02181B68 FB0AF680.

    mmh I think you are totally wrong, lol. the code you posted writes to the same addresses as the white 2 USA one I ported. I'm pretty sure it's improbable for this to be right.

    you have to compare the memory of the french game with the USA's one (black 2 USA), go to the addresses contained in the code and find the equivalent ones in the french game, then modify the code accordingly.

    for the parts you highlighted in blue, I can make them for you if you post the code you make with the above-mentioned operation.

    (if you already knew about all this and it's a coincidence for the black 2 french code and the white 2 USA one to write to the same addresses, then those two lines are 0218165C FD98F680 and 02181B48 FB1AF680)

    for the experts: the japanese "computer everywhere" code had the line "520021AC 00000000" before "E2002180 00000030". by using the code with that line, DeSmuME crashes. does removing it cause problems on the DS?

  10. i didn't bother because there's no reason to. anyone who's rnging would need an action replay to do it which most rngers won't like and people who are breeding lots of eggs can just do 1 extra to make up for the static one.

    the code looks like this:

    you can follow the hex words in the code with the hex in the disassembly. ex. 023FF830 E59FA010, 10 A0 9F E5 LDR R10, =0x2225DA4

    the rest of the code is branches- one out of an sdk function and one out of a function that copies blocks of save data.

    .... someday I'll be able to do it. lol.

    May anyone translate the White 2 code into the European (Germany) version please?

    in B2W2 the breeding is ruined, so making eggs has the only purpose of completing the pokedex. if you need to make the eggs hatch quickly, spend some time in the join avenue and make the nursery get to rank 10.

    anyway, I sent you by PM a version of the code that may work. tell me if it does.

    and if it doesn't, it's better if you don't save the game. just to be cautious.

    can't you fix seel\chinchou\shellder's error by adding an "if"? like:

    *do something so that the program won't crash*"

    }

    (yeah, I know, it's a bit too much simplified even for a pseudocode...)
