I mean the fly animation. If I use a pokemon to fly, it always shows a bird pokemon. Try making a mew or another pokemon that doesn't look like a bird use fly out of battle. The animation will show you jumping on a BIRD/BIRD POKEMON. Sorta weird...

I just use my DW taillow (now a swellow). He's not bad, but I'm thinking of replacing him with a hydraigon (spelling?) post-game. And when will gamefreak actually shoow the non-bird pokemon as something other than a bird?

Yeah, the friends have a limit. One limit is I think 5 friends per visit to DW. I haven't experienced the limit you speak of, but I don't have 10 friends yet...

(What happened to my post?) No. I've tried it, and I can still use the GTS and other stuff while a pokemon is in the DW. And besides, if the wifi was disabled after you deposit a PKM, wouldn't it be impossible to get it out?
