  1. Okay, so, I entered in the Type 8 code and tried it. I got a Bad Egg instead of a Charmander. I went back and double-checked the code and everything was fine and correct. I have no idea why this doesn't want to work for me.
  2. I was hoping to avoid Type 8 because of how much longer it is than Type 5. That's odd since I got the Type 5 codes to work for FireRed. Oh well. I'll give it a try and see if that works.
  3. Well, after I've entered in the codes for Emerald and try to access my PC (to make sure it worked and the Pokemon I created is in my PC), my screen goes black and I can't do anything. I can hear the music playing in the background, but I can't see or do anything. Here are the codes I'm trying to use for a Charmander: Master Code: 00006FA7 000A 1006F5CC 0007 83005D80 61A6 83005D82 0A35 Pokemon Code:
  4. Hey Delta I'm having some trouble getting Ciro's to work with Pokemon Emerald. Do you think you can try and help me out or do I need to make a topic on the R/S/E board?
  5. *tries it using the master code provided by the program* Well *enter colorful word here* me! You were right Delta. I guess it was the Master Code or Master Code/encrypted code combination I was using that wasn't working properly. I tried just using the Master Code provided by the program along with the unmodified code provided by the program and it worked fine. I feel stupid now. Thank you for the help. Back to that program you mentioned: Does that basically make a DS flash cart function as a GBA flash cart too so you can back up your save files and ROMs on it?
  6. Is the master code what's been giving me my problems then? Also, using that program, you can access GBA saves through a DS flash cart?
  7. No problem. Here you go: 9266FA6C97BD 905B5ED35F81 B76A68E5FAB1
  8. I wish. I don't know how I could though other than using a flash cart which are hard to find for GBA games from what I can tell. Yes it's creating both a Pokemon AND a Bad Egg. Here's the CBA code I used for an Alakazam: You also have to use an Anti DMA code for Fire Red for the code to work. Here's the Anti DMA code I'm using: What I've been doing is using AR Crypt to convert the codes to their RAW form and then converting them to Gameshark SP codes using the Master Code I've been using provided by GSCentral.
  9. I know. I just wanted to find out first if anyone here was even familiar with Ciro's Pokemon Maker. Here's the problem I'm having. I have been able to create some Pokemon, but it's also creating some "Bad Eggs". I have no idea why. This is the process I've been going through. It gives you 4 options for the code you want to create (VBA, CBA, GSA and ARv3). I'm using a Gameshark SP (looks like this), but since the GSA code lines are 16 instead of 12 (Gameshark SP lines are only 12 characters long), I've been using the CBA code. What I've been doing then is using AR Crypt to make the code compatible with the Master Code I'm using for Fire Red (which I got off GSCentral). I've also been using AR Crypt for the Anti DMA code you apparently have to use with these codes for them to work with Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald. Now, it doesn't always work the 1st time I turn on the codes for some reason, so I've had to try them a few times before they finally work. I have been able to create all the Pokemon I've wanted to so far though. The problem though is that, in addition to making the Pokemon I want, the codes are also making "Bad Eggs" for some reason. I've been making the codes to put the Pokemon in PC Box 2 Slot 1, but for some reason a Bad Egg appears in PC Box 1 Slot 30 too. I know it took a while for me to get to my problem, but I wanted to try and explain the process I've been going through to get where I am in case there's a problem in my process.
  10. I'm trying to use Ciro's Pokemon Maker for Fire Red but I'm running into some problems and was hoping someone more familiar with the program could help me out.
  11. I know the Secret ID is kind of obvious, but I'm not using these Pokemon for anything other than in-game use. I'm not sure what you mean by not terminating their name field. Do you mean their nickname? All I know is that I used the exact same steps in making these Pokemon as I used in making my Charmander and Squirtle, and I didn't have any trouble with them.
  12. I think this is what you're looking for: Feebas - http://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=1345180&la Pichu - http://www.pokecheck.org/?screenshot=1345184&la
  13. I'm trying to make a Feebas and a Pichu, and I'm trying to make both of them look like they were hatched. I'm using PokeCheck to make sure my Pokemon are legal/valid. The only problem I'm running into is that it says the following for both these Pokemon: "This Pokémon is missing DPPt hatch trash bytes". I am not familiar with trashbytes at all, so I don't know what to do. I do know that I made a Charmander and Squirtle look like they were hatched, and there were no problems with them according to PokeCheck. Attached are the Feebas and Pichu .PKM files I made. Pichu..pkm Feebas..pkm
  14. Yeah, I actually did a test with a couple Raticates I had on my HG game. They made an Egg and it hatched at level 1. Also, I had forgotten that you could use PokeCheck to check and see if your Pokemon are legal/valid. I uploaded my Squirtle to PokeCheck to see how it looked. Everything looks okay except for one thing. It says it has a valid hatch location, but it says it has an invalid encounter level. Here's what it says word for word: "Received as egg but has invalid encounter level." If you're making a Pokemon look like it hatched from an Egg, wouldn't the Met/Encounter Level be set at Level 1?
  15. Really? I could have sworn they started at level 1 in Gen 4. It's been a year or so since I played Platinum though, so obviously I forgot that. Did everything else look okay?
  16. Could someone tell me if my Squirtle is legal for Platinum? I'm trying to make a Squirtle that looks like it was hatched from an egg in HeartGold and then traded to Platinum. The reason I want it to look like it came from HG is because I want it to have the move Water Spout, and Squirtle can only learn Water Spout from HG/SS through Breeding. Squirtle..pkm
  17. I have Pokemon Black, and I want to make a Zekrom look like I got it in a trade from White. Under the "Met" Tab, what would I enter in for Location? Would I choose Link Trade, or something else? For Encounter, would I just use Egg/Pal Park/Event/Honey Tree/Shaymin? I'm pretty sure I know what to enter in for everything else like Trainer ID/Secret ID; I'm just not sure what to do for the Location.
  18. Okay. Thanks for all your help.
  19. So, for HG/SS, if I wanted to make one of the starters, I would select Starter/Fossil for the Encounter choice? Also, I've got one more question and then I think I'm done for now. I wanted to create a Petilil. Since I'm playing Black, I can't find Petilil in the wild. Therefore, I wanted to create a Petilil and make it look like I got it in a trade. For the Location Choice, I know I need to select Link Trade. However, there are 2 Link trade Choices: Link Trade and Link Trade (2). I noticed there were some other locations that had 2 choices like Nuvema Town and Nuvema Town (2). Is there a difference between Link Trade and Link Trade (2)?
  20. I made a Lillipup and Tepig yesterday with no problems. I was wondering something though. If I wanted to use PokeGen for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum or HeartGold/SoulSilver, do I use the same choices for those games, or do I need to change anything like the Encounter choice?
  21. Thank you for the help. If you don't mind me asking, why should I always set the encounter to Egg/Pal Park/etc. in Pokemon B/W? Even if I want to make a Tepig/Oshawott/Snivy and make them look like the starter Pokemon I chose, I should still use Egg/Pal Park/etc.?
  22. Sorry in advance if these questions have already been asked. I'm completely new to this. I'm using it right now for Pokemon Black. I wanted to make a Lillipup, but I had a few questions about some of the options. Here are the questions I have: When using the PID Finder and selecting the Ability, does it matter if I pick 1 or 2 if a Pokemon has only 1 Ability? Under the Met Tab where you can select where you encountered the Pokemon, should I just use Tall Grass/Darkrai for Pokemon caught in the wild in grass? Under the OT/Misc Tab, there's an Extra Bytes section. The description bubble that comes up says that Pokemon data has bytes that are either unknown or supposedly unused. It says you can set these bytes there. Is it alright if I leave them all 0?
