Easiest way to change the ID and SID of multiple Pokémon?

But don't I have to do something to make a new valid PID or something in order for it to be legal? It's been awhile since I've done any Pokesaving... -
I hope this is in the right place... Anyway, I want to change my ID and Secret ID on HeartGold, but I also want all of my Pokémon that I caught to still be recognized as my own. What would be the best way to go about editing my Pokémon so that they have my new ID and SID and are 100% legal with all the same data? Keep in mind that I'm talking about whole boxes full of Pokémon...
