Thank you, I was able to get it. Little bugger was a pain to catch.

I used PokeGen to make a Pokemon holding a Liberty Pass. I took the item and put it in my inventory but the game doesn't recognize that I have it. Is there a better way to start the event without having to use Wi-fi?
