  1. Yeah, tried setting both the primary and secondary, saved, nothing changed. Guess I'll wait until later.
  2. Probably a stupid question, but: To get the Pokemon, all you have to do is change your primary DNS to 71.234.197.162, right? I'm going in the GTS and nothing is happening, so I'm assuming there's something else you have to do.
  3. It's apparently been flagged as an 'inappropriate' name... why is beyond me, but I can tell you that the same problem is going on with Archeops, Skuntank, Marshtomp, Cofagrigus, and probably a couple others. Someone sent in a question about this to the officials and got this answer:
  4. So I've had a Soul Silver ROM for quite some time now and it's always worked very well. Something happened though and now the game won't load any .sav files, regardless of what they're named... nor will it save. Last night I played it through without any problems. Now today, I had a problem. One thing I noticed was that the .sav that the ROM was using wasn't loading properly in Sav/Gen, as in attempting to open it up would open a blank file. I had a backup with a '1' added to it saved so I figured I'd just use that. I loaded that with no problem and edited in seven Pokemon, then saved. I then renamed the file to my ROM's name, so that the ROM would use that .sav. I started up the game, and much to my surprise, the ROM proceeded with a new game. Any .sav that I tried, regardless of where I got it (I had MANY backups, as well as downloaded .sav's off the web) wouldn't load even if it was named the same thing as the ROM. I kind of thought that the name thing was what determined what to load from, but apparently not. I then tried to go through with the new game and save to see if that file would work, but now the game won't even load from previous saves. This made me believe something was wrong with the ROM itself, but I haven't done anything to the ROM, only the .sav files. Unless the .sav files can mess with the ROM? I've seen things like this where the .sav isn't the right size, but I'm not quite sure if this is the problem... If so, I don't know how to convert it on a Mac. (I've tried a website that supposedly does it, but it said it didn't need to be converted?) I've attached a .sav file. It's the original that doesn't load anything when viewed. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with getting my .sav to read, or possibly identify the problem. Sorry if I gave excessive information or sounding like such a rookie, I just want to get this fixed and have never had any problems like this. EDIT; All right, I kind of resolved it with a different ROM. Feel free to propose a solution, otherwise you may disregard this PokemonSS-patched.sav
