  1. On this page as well as on Serebii's event list, Gamestop's Night Sky Jirachi's release date is shown as 02.17.2010. When its PCD file is opened in PokeGen, its date is listed as 02.06.2010. Does anyone know which release date is correct?
  2. Oh, different versions of the same game? Interesting. Well, thanks for all the info evan and Black.
  3. I see. Thanks for letting me know. I'd still like to find out what the file names are just to be on the safe side. Do you happen to know them?
  4. For the games listed below, when they are downloaded from their cartridges into a computer, what names are their ROM and .sav files given by default? Pokemon Pearl Pokemon Diamond Pokemon Platinum Pokemon Heart Gold Pokemon Soul Silver The actual reason I'm asking this is because the .sav file name must match that of the game in order to be recognized and read by the latter. Or so I think. So before I overwrite my cartridge's .sav file with MrPooPooPantsPearl.sav I better find out what I should rename it, unless I want the wrath of a thousand flip-floppin' Magikarps to be released upon m
  5. Oh, I see. I changed the target game to a 4th Gen one and the total slots became 8... Hahahah! I'm still confused but I'm starting to think that the first 3 slots on the list are the ones that correspond to the ones you can view on your game card. The rest of them... well, I just don't know. Am I wrong?
  6. Do you mean for the Wonder Card slots? I see what you're talking about but there's 12 of them. Isn't it only 3 you can have at a time in your game? What am I misunderstand here?
  7. I'd like to know how to delete Used Wonder Card IDs on all 4th Gen games. I'd also like to know how to control which Wonder Card Slot (1, 2 or 3) Wonder Cards are place in when I add them through Action Replay using PokeGen. Does anyone know? Thanks.
  8. EDIT: I meant to post this thread in the PokeGen forum. Since I was looking at the Saves forums, I ended up posting it here unintentionally. I apologize for the inconvenience. I've got a lot of questions regarding 4th Gen Mystery Gift Wonder Cards and PokeGen. Answer only what you're sure of. I don't expect you to know the answer to everything. Here we go... When you "Trash" WCs through the game, their information is still registered in the game. I believe this is called Partial Data? 1. Is it possible to check what Wonder Card partial data your game still has? How? 2. Is it possible to wi
  9. I agree. There really isn't a "PokeGen for Dummies"-like guide on ProjectPokemon forums, or at least I haven't found one in an obvious place on this site, and I've been looking for a while. However, I did find a pretty awesome PokeGen guide on another site - http://www.pokemongts.com/showthread.php?tid=98215 So far it's pretty extensive and simple to understand but it's not complete. It's still missing a Mystery Gift section and a 4th Gen section which the user Wrath promisses to be available soon. If this guide was complete, it'd be the perfect PokeGen guide. And, Xensvet, you don't have to
  10. I've recently been looking for information on how to deal with PokeGen and Mystery Gift Cards/Items/Pokemon. Unfortunately I wasn't helped too kindly on these forums, but I kept searching and came across this guide: http://www.pokemongts.com/showthread.php?tid=98215 It doesn't exactly cover the process on Mystery Gifts but it does cover a whole lot of other PokeGen uses. Good luck!
  11. lol, wow... really? Do you always give this attitude to people on the forums? Just so you know, I was considering donating $30 to PokeGen if I were to ever figure out this whole Mystery Gift thing, but you sir, just changed my mind. I give up. See ya.
  12. When I hover over the Code List provided in the Code Generator window it tells me that that list is a way to preview the codes prior to copying them. I figure that must be the only code it's going to give me... or is it. I decided to just go ahead and Export the code and then open the xml file in MS Word. I saw right away that there were plenty of other codes besides the one I posted here. I went back to the Code Generator window to take a better look at it. I clicked on the drop down menu above the Code List and saw a few other options. I had looked at this before but didn't give it much thou
  13. Whoa... I think that link is a bit too complex for me to understand. Anyways, what I really want to know is if the code for them Gift Item/Card/PokeWalker Course is actually being generated and the scary amount of 0's I see in the code are actually meant to be there. Okay, I just tried to generate a code for an Event Pokemon (Celebi) without using the To tabs button. Instead after I opened the pgt file and clicked on the left arrow button, I went directly to the Code Generator , checked the Mystery Gifts option and then clicked on the Generate button and got he following: 94000130 FFFB0
  14. I'm testing the PokeGen's Mystery Gift capabilities because I'm not too familiar with it. So far I've been able to load a Pokemon pgt file and add the Pokemon to the Tabs to generate the code. My concern is in terms of the actual Wonder Cards and Item Gifts or PokeWalker Courses. When I generated the codes for the Pokemon gift, I had to click on the check mark for Selected Pokemon (1). Later on I decided to add the Wonder Card file and the Item Gift file to the list on the left of the Mystery Gifts window. So now there's two items on the list. I selected the Item first. Exited out of the Mys
  15. I've begun playing around with pgt and pcd files and I have a few questions I hope some of you can answer. 1. I know what the files are for, but what does PGT and PCD stand for? (ie.: PGT = Pokemon Green Terabyte?) 2. I've read that when activating a Wonder Card I should set my NDS date to match the date that the Wonder Card is being "distributed" for. Is that true? 2.1. Are there any other legit precautions such as the one mentioned in question 2. that you know about? I so, please list them. 3 I activated a Wonder Card and was able to look at it. Apparently it was a card I've already rece
