Dunno if this was pointed out, but the battle text for Psych Up, Roost, Stockpile, Swallow, and Detect aren't translated. When a pokemon misses, it's still Japanese. Also, when a pokemon is confused, the word "is" after the pokemons name doesn't have a space before it. Comes out as "Kibagois confused." or whatever.

Is there a Master Code? For some reason Akaio is freezing when I go to turn on cheats.

Well, evolving will make the names English, right? Two Pokemon in my team still need to evolve. I'm not sure if I have cheats for Pokemon White yet.

Anyway, I patched my game and all items and pokemon names are still japanese, only type icons, the logo and the text under the logo are actually translated.

What went wrong?

Go to options and switch it from Kanji to Katagana. (Right? It's Katagana and not Hiragana?) That should fix it.

you could start over from the beginning l0l... other than that if your pokemon evolves the name should change if not there might be a name changer ingame i havent seen one but im sure theres probably one.

I know where the Name Rater is, but will it recognize me naming it something? Can't put the full names in the English the game offers cuz it only gives us 5 spots for characters.

There is no problem, once you catch a Pokemon its name is part of your save file, not the rom.

But is there a way to get the names to English? It's frustrating seeing the names in Japanese with the enemies in English.

So.. Have you guys fixed the problem with Pokemon names not being translated if you started before you patched the game?
