  1. I´ll quote myself first;

I tried this with two Dark Pulse Self-Conscious Poochiena but sadly it didnt work. On the other hand i downloaded Buzzthebatgirl´s Chlorophyll Bulbasaur file and i turned it into a female to try and breed the ability into the offspring and in fact it did work, the only problem with making this, is that we must be sure the DW pokemon will be breeding this way was obtained legaly by someone as a FEMALE in order to be legit, because for example if no one has a female bulbasaur this will mean that the event ones were only given as males and because of that having a hatched one with a DW ability will be illegal, but to ensure this doesnt happen in smogon there´s a thread called List of released Dream World Pokemon and here we can check this to avoid this issue.

There has been no reported case of a female crogunk/bulbasaur/squirtle/charmander/eeveelution. I have check enough sites for it to be as close to confirmed that it can be without being confirmed that "event" DW pokémon can't be female.

  2. Ah, that's good to know. I'm using a retail cart so I'll need to trade them to Bond (he agreed to help out too) and maybe have a copy back. Now we just need to find a time to get trading. For females that I got myself, I soft reset every single one for a good nature so some of their offsprings have good natures too.

There's something to note for Staravia though. Starlys that are bred out do not have a DW ability, so I had to evolve them to check if they do turn into Reckless so they have a few stray EVs. I think it doesn't really matter though, especially if they are only used to breed DW ability offsprings.

how to check ability without giving them ev's:

    1. save your game

    2. evolve it

    3. check ability

    4. restart your game

edit: I'm using a retail cart so I can't contribute, but I do have a lot of DW pokémon (most of them ev'd, some at level 100). If anyone want to help me with contributing through trading, just pm me. (p.s. I want my pokémon back afterwards).

  3. i agree with this any pokemon caught on high link from DW or breed of them should be fine (as long as no one has edited or nicknamed them) and yeah its preferable if they are female but i dont consider DW male pokes as not useful, because you can still try to catch them with a syncronize poke and hope for good ivs and use it to battle.

I wrote that male Dw ability pokémon that has been raised without caring about ev's (raised versus random pokémon) are useless, since they cannot be ev trained without certain rare berries. UT male DW ability pokémon is just as good as female ones, as long as they doesn't need an egg move. Also, since you wpn't send out a pokémon when battling in the HL, syncronize doesn't work.

  4. Any DW ability pokémon should be fine, at least at the moment. This thread's purpose is to collect all DW ability pokémon, I guess that UT is prefered (UT bred or UT caught, doesn't matter). But there shouldn't be anyone complaining if you posted those day cared raised, or ev'd ones if you have. There should be a problem with male pokémon that has been raised witout caring about evs tho, since they won't fill any purpose at all.

  5. They still would'nt be legal since there is no data on the global link that says that the pokémon's OT had access to it a.k.a. nintendo can see that it is an illegal OT. If you plan to hack to use it when that kind of legalness doesn't matter, you might just as well pokésav it. But if you plan to use it in random wi-fi or VGC, it won't pass the legal-test.

  6. evs also can win battles, as is normally done, for it works well even at 100. I myself have tested in a poke at 100 and received after each battle evs normally

this must of changed in 5th gen, because in 4th gen, the ev's was recieved at the same time as the exp. since a pokémon at level 100 can't get exp, it would therefore not get ev's either.

  7. you have no clue of whether or not any of that is true. it might be hacked it might not. no way for anyone to know until the algorithms are figured out.

The things I've wrote are true. I have NOT wrote that they are legit, just that all information we got so far is signs of a legal pokémon.

  8. Not totally true. Some natures/IV combinations are impossible.

Anyway, like Guested said, things could have changed with B/W.

that fact that some combination were illegal in gen 4 doesn't change thatfact that less than 20 iv's in atk, sp. atk and speed is bad for a mild pokémon. A hacked pokémon will most of the time have near perfect iv's and a nature that will benifit the pokémon. Mild isn't a bad nature for bulbasaur, but it seem like most people that does that kind of hacking prefer to run natures that doesn't lower a defensive stat.

  9. Thanks everyone, but I couldn't have done it by myself.

Unfortunately, a lof of the savs I used were people's personal sav files (including my own), and that's actually what caused a lot of the time delays (changing DS systems cause a clock change, and a 24 hour delay, like the Pal Park). But anyway, being as how they are personal sav files, I won't be posting them.

In the future, there will likely be ways to determine or generate a Dream World pokemon PID, so everyone will have to wait until then.

what about if you backed up the .sav files and then release close to all pokémon on the the copy?

  10. It would be apreciated if you also contributed the .sav files for then the pokémon are in the high link, so that it will be possible to soft reset for prefered natures and iv's. This is better than making a hack that will force them to appear in HL, as the OT in that case wouldn't be the same as any of those that has sent the pokés from DW. I do understnad that all contributors may not want their .sav files to be accesable for everyone, but you can at least post the .sav files you created souly to pick up the event from borrowed daisuki club accounts.

  11. As Nigoli said, it appears that the the numbers are individual. They're also called "Serial Numbers" instead of passwords, so I believe that they do not repeat. It is highly doubtful that you can use the same password on more than one account, so I really don't think anyone would give you theirs.

If you want one, it looks like you'll have to:

    a) buy the book

    b) hope that the Japanese community is as ambitious as we are with analyzing any new sav file formats and extracting the data

    or

    c) hope that I'm extremely lucky with the three serial numbers I have.

Also, there's already a thread about this event, so I'm merging these threads.

It appears that all other events got uninduvidual numbers. It would be apreciated if you would post your passwords (after you've used them ofc). This will confirm if the numbers are individual in this event too, as well as being a better way of contributing than posting a .sav or a way of hacking it to the high link.

  12. I think all the poke we brought back from DW will have at least 1 special move, coz they usually show up by the time we befriend them or view them on the Dream Tree.. It's just that the score of the game will determine which special moves between the two (for some) will we get, the better or the worse.. Or if you want specific DW poke with specific move, then you can try to score not so high but at least high enough to befriend them..

my oddish didn't have a spevial move

  13. While being very bored waiting for my pokémon black to arrive, I decided to make a list over "old" pokémon with new dream world abilities that I'm gonna try to get ASAP after my game arrives.

This will of couse take some time as there is a limit to how many times you can connect to the dream world each day. Therefor I decided to share my set list with you. I'd like help getting all of there pokémon. I don't really care about them being ev'd or having any specific moves, just that the nickname, ability and nature is correct. Also in any stat that I am going to ev them in, they need to have 15+ iv's, unless it's the speed stat, cause 31 iv's for max speed, or 25+ for non maxed, but still trained speed.

Since cloning should be possible before my game arrives (1-2 weeks left if I'm lucky, more if I'm not..), it should not be a problem sharing it with me.

(Edit: Politoeds nick should be "Poli")
