I'm going to go with Zapdos, its been my favourite since yellow. As soon as I got it I shoved my pikachu in a box, it was the last time I saw him... But yeah, my favourite in FR/LG too.

Smogon Forum Invitational Tourney

Not to mention the 3, no wait 4 posts I've managed to do in the last four months... Although I do not contribute that much on the forums and really only got into battling in 4th gen 1 or 2 months before it ended (not looking too good for me at the moment), I am quite a frequent user on PO (and was on Shoddy) and would be happy to sub for Tbird if there are a lack of battlers for this tournament. -
What new type/type combination would you like to see?

Cloyster, Lapras and Dewgong are all the Water/Ice types out there, as well as Walrein of course. Most of them are from first gen but they are still pretty good in my opinion. I would say Water by itself is more common, and it has much better typing defensively (with fewer weakness' and more resistances). -

It used to be a discussion on what new types you would like to see, but kind of turned into a discussion about what the new types in the 5th Gen are. As for a new type combination, maybe normal/ghost? I mean that would have pretty good defensive typing with only one weakness and three types that can't even touch it. -
I don't know about that, Heatran with a balloon could easily take Venusaur. It gets rid of its 4x weakness making it a very useful item for Heatran.
