yeah i did it for all three silver entries but it didnt seem to work, it seems to work using ppte though..only normal trainers not silver though

hello i have followed all the instructions as said on the ppre tutorial, i am trying to edit the trainer and gym levels, i tried to edit the first battle with silver and his starter and changed the level to 10 for all three starters, and wrote the rom sucessfully. but when i play the rom on my flash card he still has a lv 5 starter regardless...i opened up the trainer data and ppre shows the silver battle as having a lv 10 cyndaquil/totodile/chikorita but it doesnt appear in game? am i doing something wrong? please help Thank you
