    Is there any possibility of Nintendo patching any of these injection methods? Also, will it become possible to use these methods on the new 3DS/XL, in the future?

    Ah ok. I never got to work with a more complete save with PKHeX before, mainly because of that encryption. I look forward to unlocking all pokedex entries, since datel chooses not to do it with their code .

    Amazing. So much progress in so little time you have made, Scires. So, do these two programs basically do the same decrypt/re-encrypt that Powersaves does? And, while your hard work is much appreciated, what really sets this apart from injecting one box at a time? I get that I will be able to insert all my desired pokemon in at once but...will PKHeX ever be able to edit save info other than boxes/ribbons/memories, etc. ?

    There's a little misinformation going on here. 9.0-9.4 means ALL versions from 9.0 up to all versions below 9.5. The current version is 9.4.0.21, right? That is above 9.4 and below 9.5.

    Ok so, let's say I leave some existing pokemon in my Box 1 before I use the code. Let's say I leave the second row preoccupied, and my boxdata file has data that contains generated pokemon only for the first row. Will my second row of pokemon get overwritten or not?

    For this method, selecting "Binary File" from the drop-down will not cause any problem, right?

    You're supposed to use the browser on your 3DS, NOT your desktop//laptop.

    Hmm, it used to be the other way around in previous gens. I guess I won't know for sure until I try to take mine into battle spot.

    If that is mine, the OP used that file to extract my SID. Are you sure it would not cause complications with someone else's save file?

    Maybe because you checked "infected" and "cured". Common sense tells me that a mon can be one or the other, not both. Edit: never mind . Edit 2: Ok got it. When you check "as egg", you have to select "day care helpers" as your met location, and your desired location as the "as egg" location. So, just flip the two around and it should work. Edit 3: and change the met level to 1.

    Thank you very much . I don't have my copy of X with me right now, but would you extract my X SID later? Maybe, dedicate a thread to this method of SID extraction? Also, might I suggest that you add in the OP instructions, that we have to choose "all files" from the drop-down? I know a lot of people will still never read the entire post, but it will be helpful for those of us who do .

    The "japanese only" only refers to the cyber save editor method. This web-based method should work with all regions .

    Ok so, I do not have Gateway, I need a way to look up my SID, and all I have are powersaves backups. Any way I can decrypt one of those enough so that I can look up my SID?

    YES! IT WORKED! So, the only reason it wasn't working for me was because my file was a renamed .ek6 . So, to recap, ALWAYS make sure you choose "All Files" from the drop-down, and ALWAYS clear the history and cookies on 3DS Browser before attempting.

    I have retail copies of X and Omega Ruby. I have acquired dumped ROMs of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. With Pokegen, I injected PKMs into a flashcard copy, then traded the injected pokemon into my retail copy. However, this generation, the save files on the retail copies are encrypted. So, what I need to know is, when I make a OR/AS save file on a 3DS flashcard, will those save files be encrypted too? If yes, how do I decrypt them in order to open those saves with PKHex? Once I get past that obstacle, I know that I can transfer the hexed mons from the flashcard ROM to my Pokemon Bank...
