<p><p><p><p><p><p>The interesting thing about Majoras Mask is that it's darkness is conveyed through subtlety, unlike TP which is mostly a nice art style.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Here are some tidbits which make it quite mature despite it's appearance:</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>- When obtaining a mask of another race, someone has to die or get their spirit taken away. The first mask you get is a Deku Scrub Mask. As you're trying to leave the caverns, you see a "sad-faced Deku tree". Later in the game you see a Deku Scrub who helps you get an item. He says you remind him of his son. By the very end of the game you see this Deku weeping over that sad tree.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>- The first boss you fight speaks in Mayan. It's saying "Head Will Ache and Burn. Come Burn, Come Burn". wtf</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>- Since you have to keep reverting time, you can never be happy with your changes. Essentially you take advantage of the people you help by obtaining masks or a bottle, then once you have it you run off to the next zone, even though the prior people are still "suffering".</p></p></p></p></p></p>
