Execrable

How do I save games?? What settings? and i need a save game file that's compatible with Pokesav.

Which emulators is it compatible with?? It's only compatible with .sav .nsd .dat .0 I have two emulators one Desmume for Heartgold (.dst save file) and Visualboy(.SG save file) for All GBA games.. It doesn't seem to work with these or maybe I'm doing something wrong? In the guide it's like who ever wrote that totally forgot that many people use emulators and it has nothing about compatibility with them... It's as if who ever wrote the guide didn't know of their existence.
